It's a lovely little easy mountain. There are not slopes harder than an easy intermediate.
We are all expert skiers but my wife decided to learn snow-boarding. So this was a great place to come. Even the lift-line, usually the hardest and steepest slope of the mountain, is a gentle green.
I am, however, baffled by their COVID-19 precautions. They are so over the top ridiculous that they are bordering on ludicrous.
They have the entire inside of their lodge roped off into a labyrinth. To to the bathroom, you have to go around the building, in through one entrance, enter the labyrinth, walk right past the ticket booth, go downstairs and use it.
If you want to then purchase tickets, you can't just walk ten feet back the way you came and purchase the tickets. Even if there is absolutely not even a single other client in the building, they make you walk all the way to the other end of the building, exit through the west side, then walk around to yet a third entrance, and go in that way to end up exactly 12 inches from where you were standing before, and then get permission from an uptight little employee to go to the ticket counter where nobody has been in over an hour since its the middle of the day. Mind boggling. I realize that the scare of the Pandemic and the craziness of the government regulations has reduced everyone's IQ, but they way they are handling things makes me suspect that it was not very high to begin with at this mountain.
So uptight and unreasonable, it just invites condescension. read more
