Now I have received a paper billing, which shows they have my Medicare # and my Secondary insurance # What am I to make of this? They are pleading for me to update my information online, LOL Looks like a phishing operation to gather more information. Nobody could or should be so disorganized that the patient has to tell them what their records show. LOL The only response I will send them is a copy of this review and I will mail it in the payment envelope they sent me, along with a copy of Medicare's EOB showing they were paid.

Tens of thousands of bills charged by other providers and I did not pay one penny. But Foundation Radiology could not seem to bill a simple xray correctly. I spent hours on the phone with them over a one year period. Finally they decided they overcharged $80 but refused to adjust the remaining $28 owed. Then they actually sent the account to collections. Total incompetence. I will go out of my way to avoid ever using them again.

I believe that the other imaging services require an appointment. My physician ordered an x-ray of my ribs, and this imaging office performed the x-ray. I brought my printed physician's order for the x-ray. I checked in at a kiosk. Many minutes later, an employee called me to her window and confirmed my identity. The wait time on a Friday morning was supposed to be about 30 minutes, but I think that I waited less time. The employee who performed my x-ray said that she had started her job only five days earlier, but she spoke very politely to me, and she positioned my body in the posteroanterior and the anteroposterior/oblique views to ensure that the x-ray machine took images of the correct body area. Hours later, a radiologist read the images and posted the results on UPMC's website. (The radiologist said that my results were normal--phew!)

Service is fine after you arrive. Friendly and efficient staff. But it is impossible to speak to…read morea human being via a call if you want an answer to a question. Robo-call system with no option for human interaction - not patient friendly.
