Office staff was not friendly. Very long wait to see a doctor we've never seen and did not know we were placed with a new doctor. Now, I can't get through the phone or get a return call. I've been trying for days to get through. I'm forced to go elsewhere. Terrible experience read more

We moved to Monroe as my teenage daughter was struggling with her emotional and physical health. Dr. Hill saved her life... in all honesty, she was diagnosed with several odd medical conditions and was referred to a therapist who has changed my daughter's life. Dr Hill always remembers things we've discussed in prior appointments and doesn't let my daughter avoid difficult questions (as teen girls like to do). She gets to what's underneath and truly helps my daughter. This isn't a practice that just gets them in and out like so many do. The staff has always been pleasant and when we've seen someone besides Dr. Hill, the service has continued to be exceptional. I can't recommend this practice more. I only wish we had found her much sooner!! read more

Just had a baby and was wanting to establish care for my child. Called and asked about their vaccine protocol and would they support me giving one vaccine at a time and was told "yes". I have always given my children one vaccine at a time so that I can watch for any adverse reactions. Same concept when you first introduce foods. 1 at a time and monitor for reactions. Anyway.. I went on their website and boy was I blown away by what was written! From their website: " Furthermore, we firmly believe that by not vaccinating your child, you are taking selfish advantage of thousands of others who do vaccinate their children, which decreases the likelihood that a child will contract one of these diseases. We feel such an attitude to be self-centered and unacceptable. Even delaying or "breaking up the vaccines" to give one or two at a time over additional visits goes against expert recommendations, is not supported by any scientific data, can lead to unnecessary delays and errors, and can put your child, other children, and adults at risk for serious illness (or even death). It is therefore against our medical advice as professionals at Monroe Pediatrics." I find this Super judgemental and VERY aggressive. I will NOT bring my child to this pediatric office. And if you are a parent like me that is cautious with what you give your children and care enough to do some research and not just follow the "normal protocol" I would consider going elsewhere as well. Noted this from their website as well: 5. WHAT IF THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM? An allergic reaction could occur after the vaccinated person leaves the clinic. If you see signs of a severe allergic reaction (hives, swelling of the face and throat, difficulty breathing, a fast heartbeat, dizziness, or weakness), call 9-1-1 and get the person to the nearest hospital. For other signs that concern you, call your health care provider. Adverse reactions should be reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). Your health care provider will usually file this report, or you can do it yourself. Visit the VAERS website at www.vaers.hhs.gov or call 1-800-822-7967. VAERS is only for reporting reactions, and VAERS staff members do not give medical advice. So again HOW WOULD I KNOW WHICH VACCINE CAUSED THE REACTION IF 6 were given at the same time!!!!! read more

100% rude & unethical, I checked my son out for a check up that i know for sure i confirmed four days prior ( i have the call saved) i checked my son out in a hurry to make it to the appt, only to be told there was no appt made when the waiting room was empty and it was just to check a prior infection that he was antibiotics for , so therefore two week check. She said there was appt made which i know i made (i have proof) , and never even offered for him to be checked and i was mocked by the ladies working behind the desk. It was rude and disrespectful for as long as my kids been going there. read more

The lack of care and concern is very disappointing. My son has ADHD and refused his medication that is classified as a stimulant. After discussing this with his therapist, I agreed to keep him off of the medication during summer break. Once school started, I explained to my son that we would see how things went without the medication. He agreed if it interfered with school work that he would try to start medication again. He was not focused once the school year started back. I made an appointment with Dr. Hill to try a non stimulant medication. During this time, it was very difficult to reach anyone at Monroe Pediatrics. The pharmacy even had problems getting anyone to answer the phone and suggested that I try to contact them. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE, AND YOU CAN'T LEAVE A VOICE MESSAGE NOR CAN YOU MESSAGE ON THE APP. The non-stimulant medication didn't work for my son, so I rescheduled an appointment to get him back on the previous stimulant medication he took before. I expressed my concerns to the Dr. Hill about no one answering the phone. She apologized and said they were having internet issues. She also said she was aware of the shortages of stimulant meds at each pharmacy. The stimulant med was called into the pharmacy, but I received a call from pharmacy saying it was unavailable and insurance would not pay for the name brand and it would cost me $400 out of pocket. I reached out to Monroe Pediatrics after calling several pharmacies only to find the medication available at one pharmacy. I was told Dr. Hill was out of the country and no one else had the authority to prescribe a controlled substance. I couldn't get anyone to send the new prescription to the pharmacy that had the med available. I was worried it wouldn't be available once the Dr was back in town. I was told no other Dr was on call that could prescribe controlled substances. I expressed my disappointment with Drew after calling several times to try to get the prescription sent to the new pharmacy. I also expressed my disappointment with no one returning my calls or answering the phone. This person said the reason for the office not answering the phone is because they have had a lot of patients with respiratory issues. I told her that was no excuse not to answer the phone. That's two different excuses. As I said earlier, you aren't able to leave a message on the app either. However, they will allow you to leave feedback. I decided to leave feedback with all my concerns listed above. Then, I received a letter in the mail from Dr. Hill terminating my son's care saying I was non compliant with treatment. I feel like this was all in retaliation for speaking the truth. I work in the medical field myself, and we are taught empathy. I remember one of our first visits with Dr. Hill. She said her daughter had similar issues and it nearly ruined their relationship. I guess EMPATHY can't be taught. BEWARE!!! I wouldn't give any stars if that were an option! read more

Awful! I waited for over 45 minutes with my sick baby (who had a fever!). I had an appointment at 12 and still hadn't been seen by 12:45. No one even had the courtesy to let me know if would be a while. I will definitely NOT be returning. Terrible service! read more

Wonderful staff, knowledgeable providers. Can't recommend enough. I especially love Dr Hill's efforts to keep us all safe and informed throughout all things COVID. We love you Dr Hill. read more

We absolutely love Monroe Pediatrics! All of the providers have been excellent, but we especially adore Amanda Green. She saved my little girls life when we came in for what we thought might be an ear infection, my 4 year old became unresponsive (seizure) and then she stopped breathing. All of the nurses and staff are awesome! They all jumped into action while some comforted me. They did everything they could for her until EMS arrived and bagged her. I'm forever thankful for this wonderful team! After this occurred, I became paranoid about everything so I know I probably drove them crazy with appointments but they always answered my questions and even went as far as to refer my daughter out for a neurologist to rule out any problems. They truly do care! It's hard to find doctors that listen to your concerns. read more

Dr.Hill is an amazing doctor she has helped me and my family whenever we needed help. One time when my sister and I saw her on TV when we went to her she gave us her autograph. She is funny, nice, and most of all she is the best doctor of all time. I hope to see you soon Dr.Hill you are the best doctor a person could ever ask for. read more
