I also felt that some of the business practices were unfair and not handled transparently. Customers should be given clear information, reasonable explanations, and the opportunity to understand charges before decisions are made. The customer service made the situation even more frustrating. Instead of feeling like my concerns were being addressed, I felt dismissed and left to repeatedly follow up for basic information. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Better communication, transparency, and respect for customers would go a long way.

I tried the facility that tested my emissions, the garage I'd been going to for 14 years to service our three cars and a "highly recommended" garage-all in Shelton. None of them would even give me an estimate!?! They all said or implied that the job was too complicated and wouldn't be worth their time. Then, a friend told me about AK and Gustavo, the manager. I brought my car to him along with the emissions test results. Within 15 minutes, he gave me an accurate estimate and we scheduled my car for repairs. Three days later, my car was running like new. It had tons more power, ran very smoothly and I'm even getting better gas mileage. AK is somewhat far from my house, but it is well worth the trip for such great service. Thank you Gustavo and crew. P.S. Also, free potato chips.

They turned a really awful day into a win and for under 1k with quality parts and service. I will never get brakes and rotor service anywhere else. Really well priced too. They've definitely earned a new customer for my future needs and were a silver lining in a scary day. Todays lesson- don't let car stuff go! I got lucky but almost didn't!
