I had my car towed there after speaking with them last week about potentially doing the brake job (my fault completely for letting it go so long) and I called on my way from the tow trunk; they were so kind, I arrived by 11:30 and they had my brakes and rotators fixed/replaced by 3pm! They also offered me a military discount when they saw the plates on the car of the family member who dropped me off (retired marine). They turned a really awful day into a win and for under 1k with quality parts and service. I will never get brakes and rotor service anywhere else. Really well priced too. My first stop was a Volvo dealer who assured me they had the truck I wanted. Fifteen minutes later, after actually driving there, I was told it had been "sold yesterday." Not a great start. Then I called Auto Kingdom -- and the contrast could not have been sharper. Right from the first phone call, everyone I spoke with was friendly, relaxed, and -- importantly -- straightforward about the condition of the Honda Ridgeline I had my eye on. No games, no mysterious "just sold," no pressure. When I arrived, Michael met me and immediately struck me as someone who genuinely enjoys people. Knowledgeable, yes -- but also friendly in a way you don't see much in this business. The whole process was refreshingly simple. We talked, I looked over the truck, and maybe 20 minutes later the paperwork was done. No drama, no surprises, no last-minute upsell. Driving the truck all the way back to Maine, it performed flawlessly the entire trip -- though frankly, it's a Honda Ridgeline, so I wasn't expecting anything less. The new manager, Chance, along with the team of auto mechanic technicians, have been incredibly helpful, reasonable, and professional. From jump-starting a dead battery and installing a new one quickly, to completing much-needed last-minute repairs on our son's truck before he returned to college, and most recently, thoroughly investigating an emergency notification light on one of our vehicles -- they've gone above and beyond every time. Finding trustworthy and qualified mechanics is not easy, and knowing we can rely on the Mobile Trumbull Service Center right here in our town is both comforting and greatly appreciated. We are truly grateful for their continued dedication and excellent service.

So, naturally, I go, back, in and see the owner guy, and, he tells me that I had actually, 'failed' it, and that he had told me all this, previously, during my last visit, where I had passed my last test. Imagine my surprise, upon hearing this, but this state is about as transparent and law-abiding, as a BP-gulf-coast oil spill! ... In any event, as the owner was very, 'busy', the owner guy told me to come see him, in a week-and-a-half, for some repairs and another(!) test. Don't that just beat off? I am very dissatisfied, with the service I received, here, and I would not recommend this place, to anyone, who is seriously interested in automotive repairs and or emissions testing. Con-netticut, indeed... Yuck
