I've been a loyal customer of RESS Signs in Laguna Hills for many years. However, ever since Jim…read moreleft the business, the quality of customer service has sharply declined. The current team is unresponsive -- they rarely answer phone calls, and voicemails are never returned. I emailed them our design files and requested a callback. After a full week without any response, I began to assume the business had shut down. I ended up driving there in person, only to find they were still open but short-staffed. I placed my order with someone in the back office, who took down my credit card information and filled out the order form. Three days later, I received an email saying my payment didn't go through. So I had to go back again, only to discover that the staff member had written down one of the credit card digits incorrectly. I provided the correct number and was told the signs would be ready in 7-8 business days. After two weeks with no updates, I called again and left another message -- and again, no response. I stopped by their store, and the employee at the front desk told me they had no record of a correct credit card for payment and my signs were not made. Frustrated, I asked to speak with the manager. Instead of taking responsibility or offering any assistance, he simply said he'd be happy to cancel my order and that I could go elsewhere -- without even an apology. If you're considering using RESS Signs, I strongly suggest you think twice. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is simply unacceptable.

The watch dog that greeted me upon entering Polished Image Wear was completely friendly...lovable…read moreeven and I was instantly at home here. Businesses have a kind of vibe...you can almost tell if the customer experience is going to be good or bad in short order. Polished Image Wear was a bit of a drive for me but their reviews motivated me to make the trek. In the weeks that followed I found An Pham (owner) to be a highly detail-oriented perfectionist who made sure I understood the unique challenges of my job. I made so many revisions on this project, it's surprising she didn't smack me in the head. But despite this, An and her watchful hound remained calm, collected and helpful. The completed pieces exceeded my lofty expectations and the price seemed so short I added a 40% gratuity. I threw a second project at her and was quite pleased with the results. An is a perfectionist in every way, she doesn't make promises she cannot keep and goes out of her way to make you happy. By comparison, the other local embroidery shops in So. OC are dismissive and somewhat cold. There is none of that attitude at Polished Image Wear. Look, I have very high expectations and am known as something of a difficult customer...some say demanding but even I cannot find room for improvement here. An sets the customer care bar so high...her competition needs to charter a plane just to see it. Give Polished Image Wear a try next time you need something, you'll appreciate how you are treated, the quality craftsmanship and definitely the price. But give yourself an extra 3-5 minutes cuz the dog is gonna require some love from you. Like I said, you'll feel the difference the moment you enter the front door. You can thank me later.

I couldn't let just any framer work on this piece of art so I decided to use The Framing Corner. It was important that I get that personal touch, time and design care to make sure my painting is framed to show off it's beauty by working with a business that also feels a sense of ownership and care over my piece too. I was so happy I went to The Framing Corner. From the design consultation to the finished product I feel they not only worked with what I expressed I was looking for but they worked very hard to build a frame that allowed for as much of the painting to be exposed while keeping it within the designated space measurements. Their communication with me was very professional, organized and consistent. The craftsmanship on the frame they built was precise, with clean edges and my eyes are keen to see errors like that. The framers are so friendly and know their stuff. Your art is safe here and you will love how it will turn out once the Framing Corner gets their hands on it. The hardest part is the waiting.

Wendy and James were absolutely amazing. When I came to pick a frame I think James probably showed me half the frames in the store until I finally decided on two. I agreed and a week later my picture was done and I paid a very nominal fee for Wendy to re-mat it. They just took such an interest in me and my picture.
