The first floor space is pretty enclosed and seems to amplify any noise. I visited with my mother who is in her late 70s. We didn't know it, but because she was in a motorized wheelchair, she got reduced admission, and I got in free as her caretaker, great bonus! But it was ROUGH on the first floor. So many kids and I don't know why, but it seemed like all of them were screaming at once. We decided to jump ship and go straight to the top floor and work our way down and that was a great idea. It was actually a calm enough environment that we could enjoy ourselves. Plus, the views from the top floors of the city of Vienna are incredible. The building itself is really interesting architecture with a very abstract shape. It's not just an aquarium, although there are several floors and exhibits dedicated to marine life. They had all kinds of animals! There was an area on the top floor that was like a giant wraparound birdcage that you could walk through and 100s of parakeets were flying all around us. We saw a giant turtles, lemurs, all types of lizards, sharks, eels etc. My favorite exhibit was definitely a three floor area that was like a walk-in monkey exhibit. There were several types of monkeys and they ran all around you! You've got to be aware, though, if you try to stand under a monkey and take a selfie, it might pee on you- I actually saw it happen! I get that this is a great place to bring kids but dang these people seem like they had no boundaries and they were just all going crazy. That being said, I think it's worth a visit but my recommendation would be to visit on one of the earlier weekdays, not towards the weekend. Hopefully it wouldn't be as crowded.

As you explore its viewing platforms, make sure to take a moment to look out over the bustling neighborhoods below. The sight of old and new Vienna in the distance is brilliant. So glad we stopped for the views.

I mainly just walked around and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the amusement park, and took a bunch of photos of my surroundings. There were uniformed school marching bands that marched and performed thorughout the park during the afternoon I visited, ranging from elementary-aged children up to high school. I ate a Hungarian flatbread called langos for the first time! Enjoyed a very nice couple of hours just walking around as a tourist.

Ah, the Prater. This is a decently sized amusement park that is fun for both kids and adults! You…read morewill see everything a typical park has, from a shooting gallery to flying swings and a ferris wheel. Prices are reasonable, and you pay at each ride. It's also a neat place just to walk through, as there is no admission fee. The soda vending machines were cheap compared to other places, with a bottle of coke for just 1 Euro! At night the rides are all lit up making for a really cool ambiance. It's fun to listen to the screams and try to figure out which ride they're coming from! Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're in Vienna for the culture, the history, the romance of it all. You still need a little time to break away and experience the fun side, and the Prater will give you that...just go! 43/2025

Firstly the website is very miss leading and it does not give you the really important information you need. The information is there but you need to search for it. But first you need to know what your searching for. For example, everyone needs to play in socks, no bear feet, this is really important information for a parent to know, as it is summer time and my child is not wearing socks as it is too hot. But of course they will SELL you socks when your there. Secondly all the really cool stuff the children want to play on or with cost extra money, so after paying to get into the place, you continue paying for half of the stuff in there. Again important information we should have known before going there. Then i had issues with the safely there, as there are not really many people working there and you can clearly see they are bored and unhappy and just not paying attention. I could go on and on but i will not. Basically the end result is THAT I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. out of the three main places i took my eight year old boy, I would suggest the following. Monoplis, 100% take your child there, this place rocks, LOVE IT. Bogi Park you can go there but dont expect too much, it is not so bug and you need to pay for some extra things. Family Fun Park, DO NOT GO THERE.
