Love this location! First of all, there is ample parking in a big wide lot, not the typical maze…read moretype of parking lot that is hard to navigate and is the "con" of many other locations. The Trader's here is in a large strip mall with big box stores so parking is never an issue. Inside is big and spacious, bright and clean with wide aisles so you never feel like you are on top of other shoppes. Yes, the cleanliness is because it's new, but the spaciousness is due to the design. Props for that. Well stocked with all the typical Trader Joe's items, as stores are pretty universal. Trader's isn't we here I do all my shopping, but when I'm looking for cheese, crackers and charcuterie items, this is where I go. I also love their affordable bagged salads, sugar snap peas, Persian cucumbers, small curd cottage cheese, and eggs - all affordable weekly purchases. Can always find decent wine at affordable prices, too. When they are offering tastings, I always give them a try and discover something new. And of course the 99 cent greeting cards are a steal! Plus the fresh flowers and plant section not to be missed. currently they have bromeliads which have one single bright orange, red or yellow bloom that lasts for months. I have about a half dozen! While I don't live in this area, when I go to have my car serviced or I'm visiting friends in Oregon City, my car automatically turns into the parking lot. Did I mention the easy ample parking?

No lines at this suburban location! Ah, the pink spinning carousel of doughnuts is mesmerizing! Old Dirty Bastard doughnut: raised doughnut w/chocolate frosting, Oreos, and drizzled peanut butter. When I was watching the carousel spin, it had me at Oreos. And yes, they are paying homage to the late rap artist w/his namesake doughnut. Plain Cake: a classic! This cake donut was excellent and surprisingly my favorite. Perfect. A simple doughnut that I sampled in the evening and was still amazing with my coffee the next morning. Peanut Cake: another simple cake donut with chocolate and peanuts. Very good! Thankful I am not allergic to peanuts. Banana Cream Pie: custard-filled doughnut with banana cream frosting and a slice of banana topping. The custard cream is yummy! So if I were in town again, I would actually get the plain cake and try something new to me. The Marshall Mathers doughnut also caught my eye on the spinning carousel. It is an M&Ms doughnut and homage to the rap artist known as Eminem. And I would sample whichever doughnuts that the hubby chooses! Customer service was excellent. Love the pink decor. Their slogan is "Good things come in pink boxes." Indeed!

The inside? Soft, fluffy, warm, and somehow exactly what bread is supposed to taste like. This isn't just bread. This is an experience. This bread didn't simply enter my mouth it changed my entire perspective on life. Every bite was better than the last, and when it was gone, I immediately experienced a level of sadness usually reserved for the endings of great movies. I have eaten a lot of bread in my life. I have respected bread. I have enjoyed bread. But this bread? This bread deserves a national holiday. If you are given the opportunity to eat this bread, DO NOT HESITATE. Cancel your plans. Call your family. Tell your friends. Drop everything and experience greatness. 10/10. 5 stars. Michelin should make a bread category just for this. I would happily eat this bread every day for the rest of my life.

They are also very clear that gluten-free items are produced in the same facility as their products containing gluten. The bakery smells delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful, and I was very surprised by the variety of products they produce. Their cookies are big, soft, and priced very economically. This location in Clackamas offers a few tables on the sidewalk, with a few in the dining room as well. The bakery looks like it would make a great lunchtime spot.

Fish choices are good, though most things are overpriced (as usual) but I like that the store is fairly easy to navigate, with wide aisles, and parking is a breeze - plus there's an Amazon counter in store and a Starbucks and ACE Hardware right across the parking lot. In the winter, I'm here for the blood oranges, clementines and pomegranates. In the summer, I'm all about the berries - hoods, blueberries and blackberries - and peaches. Lots of people complained that WF is expensive, but it depends on what you are buying. Their 365 brand sells local products and is very affordable and the items are fantastic. Some that I particularly like are the instant coffee, great for my afternoon iced coffee drink; their pasta is wonderful and they offer many shapes, not just the norms, the cavatelli being one of my favorites; tortilla chips, black beans, Thai Curry cashews, veggie straws - just to name a few. Like all WFs, they have an exceptional prepared food area with lots of delicious mains and fixings. The one thing I'm not a fan of is the roasted chicken. I've bought dozens and they are always dry. Not sure what's up with that because everything else is really good. Bakery section has tempting treats, lots of grainy breads and even gluten free options. The cheese area is fantastic, always something new to try. Because of the prices, I can't afford to shop here for my everyday items, but I come when I want high quality meat, cheese, and produce. And my favorite 365 items. When items are on sale, Prime users get additional discounts, sometimes as high as 20 or 30% off. Great time to stock up on pantry items.
