Since most of the issues are conditions I just have to live with, I have in recent years treated myself with OTC remedies and such. But the issues finally piled up to the point that I needed to see an ENT. My previous ENT, who was wonderful, had become so busy, I would't be able to get in to see him for almost three months. So I have begun looking for someone with a more open schedule. I read about Dr. Wyatt and saw good things written about him, so I checked with my PCP and he referred me to him, got me in in about two weeks and today was my big day. I filled out the paperwork in about 25 minutes, which was the most detailed I remember ever seeing, and went to the office , arriving about 15 minutes early. Upon checking in, I was given two additional forms by the receptionist, which had to do with several unscheduled procedures that might have to be performed during any given visit if the doctor considered them medically necessary. I was instructed to authorize the doctor to perform these procedures before I had even met him. When I asked the receptionist if that was their usual protocol, she said, I'm sorry, but you were here just fifteen minutes before your appointment. We don't have time for questions like this right now. We will have to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you want discussions about things like that. I was taken aback, but I really wanted to be seen, so I took a little bit different line of questioning and said, "Well, could you at least give me a ballpark figure about what these procedures might cost me (after Medicare and BC/BS)? I don't feel comfortable authorizing charges for unknown procedures when the staff cannot even estimate what the charges might be. It seemed like I was walking in to a used car dealership and asked to sign a sales contract for an unknown car at an unknown sales price with undetermined terms. I could go on, but I won't. And neither will I return to his office.

She takes her time and is extremely thorough. She listens to all your concerns and goes out of her way to help you and explain things so you understand clearly. She truly cares about you and suggests what is best for your health & quality of life. I have also had a VERY complicated sinus surgery with this practice combined with a rhinoplasty to reset my nose from a fall, and I could not be more thrilled with the results and thorough care prior and post-op. She is very professional and easy to talk to. She said my complaint is a common one. At the conclusion of the testing, she took her time explaining what all the results were. My husband came with me to my second appointment. I tried several different hearing aides indoors and out door to see which one worked the best. She even had my husband go down the hall and speak to me to see which pair helped the most! I ordered the aides that were most helpful and returned to have Dr Holden to build a hearing program for me. Since then, I've returned for a little program tweaking. I am very satisfied with my hearing aides and with Dr Holden and staff.

I was referred to and advised that Collin County ENT would take Tri-Care. Truth is that they do take Tri-Care and it is in network, but only as a secondary insurance, not a primary insurance (According to the receptionist that I spoke to it is office dependent, so they can make their own rules). So, what do veterans do when they do not have additional insurance? I think this is a very poor stance when your duties are to help. You only help when it benefits you as the Doctor. What a work-around to allow this organization to charge more for service. I know that doctors who support military veterans take more of a loss. It's a given but when you say you do but there's a catch, you are just spitting in the face of those who served to allow you to skate around the issue of possibly taking less money for the same payment. This is just so frustrating to know that I pay a lot for my military "Tri-Care Prime" insurance. More than most who may be transiting through this office (if they pay anything at all) but only to be told your second rate. Pathetic! I'm sure you have the ability to find my name. I spent close to 30 minutes pre-filling out docs to be prepared the day of the appointment. I showed up early an after check in waited in the lobby for 45 minutes. I even checked because 6 people that came in after me we sent back. A couple completed their visit and left before I was sent back. After I was sent back I was informed that it would be another 20-30 minutes before I saw the doctor. At this point I elected to get up and leave. I was asked if I wanted to call back to reschedule to which I declined. They obviously have too many patients if the wait times are this lengthy. I'm sure from the other review that they are fine doctors especially considering the patient load but to have this experience is rude and dis-courteous. I wouldn't dream of showing up to any appointment late like this.

However I still have chronic drainage nonstop during the day. It is annoying. I told Dr Cable that it felt like there was damage to my nose. Dr Cable just told me to continue with Saline rinse and flonase. He did not want to prescribe antibiotics. I feel like I need them. I have been dealing with this infection 3 years at least. I am doubtful I will go back to see Dr Cable. I might try to go to UVA for another opinion.

I've had hearing problems since the 6th grade, but I've always refused to wear a hearing aid because I was too embarrased to go out in public wearing it at such a young age. My hearing was so bad, that all of my friends know to text me, NOT call, because the idea of constantly having to repeat yourself during a phone conversation is annoying to say the least. Fast forward many moons later and my hearing has now caused problems in both my personal and professional life. Long story short, I finally went in to see Dr. Peskind. The ability to hear is such a blessing!!! My only regret is that I didn't suck up my pride and go in sooner. Thank you Dr. Peskind!

i waited over a year to do this, but i'm still angry. utsw docs saved my life, and i trust most…read moredepartments explicitly in both dallas and frisco, especially endocrinology and the liver clinic on the main dallas campus and frisco primary care​. maybe dr. peskind has just aged out of incompetence, and that's not ageism as i am in my 70s. i've only needed an ent for sinus before, but i developed tinnitus 2 years before but had it suddenly get much worse. i can hear better than most 20 year olds, just ask anyone trying to say something they don't want me to hear! i had a loud screaming in my head, but this doc decided i simply needed a hearing test and diagnosed me with severe hearing loss! if someone is screaming next to a ping, like a windchime, no one will hear the chime! he ignored my reason for being there, and when i walked in, and i commented on my husband's hearing issues, he said it's usually wives with the problem! my pcp, who i see a lot, scowled at his diagnosis. this guy does not listen to women!!
