He receives physical therapy 1x a week, speech therapy 2x weekly, and occupational therapy 1x weekly. Because of his special needs he has had numerous doctors and therapists throughout his short life, and I can say that we have truly found a home here. The staff and therapists are all very friendly and have always been really polite and understanding. They will work with you with regards to scheduling, and figure out the best options for services depending on the type of insurance coverage you have. (We have a high deductible plan, but we plan ahead and budget for medical expenses accordingly.) As a stay-at-home homeschooling mom, I am on a budget just like everyone else, but Beelieve's services are well worth it to me. My son's speech and clarity have improved so much, as well as his strength and balance. He still struggles with symptoms of his diagnosis, but the work he does while at Beelieve has helped to improve his confidence and stamina, and that trickles down into every aspect of his life! The owner, and main Physical Therapist, Joanna truly cares about her patients and how she can best improve their health and reduce the struggles or pain they may be dealing with. All of the therapists here make going to an appointment feel like playtime! Even after coming every week for 2 years, my son is excited to get up and come back! He works hard during his therapy time and earns stickers and smiley faces that he can later turn in for toys or temporary tattoos. I think the best part about Beelieve is that they really take the time to listen to me as a parent. There are 2 locations and it can be hard to get an appointment at first. We were able to consistently able to schedule Tuesday appointments to keep the babies on a schedule. His sessions were on 30 minutes long instead of an hour because he was so young. Shelly taught us different exercises to help him meet milestones and she was always very encouraging. The office staff was the only semi downside. In the beginning they were not the most friendly or welcoming. After continuing to go they started to warm up and become more welcoming. There was one incident around our third or fourth session. When you start you can put a card on file so they can charge you your copay. We had gone there with no problem the first few weeks and then all the sudden I received a text stating I didn't pay for the session and there wasn't a card on file. I am not sure if they confused my son with someone else but there certainly was a card on file and they left a not so great impression to me.

My first complaint was completely ignored by both Rebecca, the owner, and Doreen, the scheduling coordinator. When I brought up my concerns again, instead of listening, Rebecca threw my son out of her clinic, talked over me, and denied everything I'd seen firsthand. His father has also complained twice about the same issues, but Rebecca refuses to take any accountability and chooses instead to argue with parents and act as if we are the problem. Do not fall for the nice and friendly introduction they give during the first visit. It's nothing but a sales tactic to get you in the door and bill your insurance or take your money. Once you start noticing issues and try to speak up, their entire attitude changes. This is not a speech pathologist who cares about the children, but one who clearly only sees them as a way to make more money for her clinic. I was told this was one of the best clinics, but after everything I've experienced and witnessed, it's far from it. I have emails and texts as proof for anyone who doubts it. Parents -- do yourselves a favor and take your children somewhere that genuinely cares, listens to your concerns, and treats families with respect. Don't make the same mistake I did -- avoid this place at all costs.
