Below is the email I sent to the company to express my dissatisfaction with their service. After I sent it, I actually found MORE things to be upset about. For example: PERSONAL trash that the "cleaner" left behind (not trash that was already here). I have also included Zuriah's response, which as you can see, is abysmal.
MY EMAIL TO THE CLEANER:
Hi Zuriah,
I just returned home and was able to inspect the basement. When I first received the cleaning receipt and saw that I was charged for 4 hours of work, I was extremely surprised and skeptical but wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. I typically do the cleaning myself, and it only takes me 45 minutes from start to finish. Given that I am very familiar with the space, I expect it to take strangers longer. However, I have previously hired another cleaner from Task Rabbit, and it took her one hour and fifteen minutes.
When considering the 4-hours I was charged, my first thought was that you had misunderstood the task and actually cleaned my entire house, as that is typically the time it takes my regular cleaner to do the main floor, which includes 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a full kitchen and living room.
After receiving your before/after pictures and confirming that you had, in fact, only cleaned the basement, I then thought that maybe you did a deep clean, which could potentially explain the long time frame. However, after coming home and inspecting the basement, that is clearly not the case. Spaces I would expect to be cleaned in a deep clean, such as the oven, the windows, and the refrigerator, were clearly untouched. In addition, surfaces that should've been cleaned in the most basic job were still dirty, such as the tables next to the beds.
All of this is to say that I will be disputing the charge with Task Rabbit and filing a formal complaint with your cleaning company. I do expect to receive a refund for the services for which I was charged that were clearly not performed.

When booking with our cleaning team, we send multiple technicians when we can, to make sure quality work is performed and did inform you of that. It is very unfortunate you do not feel the job was quality work and worth the price. The reasoning behind the charge was that is took two of our cleaning technicians 2 hours, slightly over, to finish the task and completed what would be 4 hours of work with just one cleaning technician.
We tried to get you a different pricing option by booking directly through us, as the apps do make pricing more complicated for our team. We do not want you to be dissatisfied. We prioritize your input and your time and would like to offer a cleaning for you at 50% off, booking directly with us at our much simpler rates, for the next time you need one!
