I decided to drive to Abbeville and it was an amazing town. As we were walking around, I asked around about a good place to eat and we were referred to this restaurant. By the time we arrived, they were closed. I saw the Chef unloading the truck and I asked if they could please open for us so we can eat as we were very hungry and they closed 5 minutes ago. He agreed and we were let in. We had chili, turkey club, hand cut fries, turkey wrap, chicken fingers and shakes. The entire food was amazing and very well done. The presentation was good and the restaurant was amazingly design that I felt that I was going to see McFly and Buff at any moment. If you are driving around Abbeville, make stop and visit this town and the restaurant for sure. You will not be disappointed that you did. The server and the chef were great, great customer service and great food. Can't ask for more!

It was loaded with little bites of sausages, chicken, shrimp, and scallops. All those proteins were nestled with just the right amount of spices in a rich broth with onions and tomatoes. A nice helping of rice topped off the dish nicely. We shared the grilled catfish fillets. You have an option of one, two, or three fillets. We opted for three for only $21. The filets were good size and nicely grilled with a bit of blackening seasoning. The meal came with a single trip to the salad bar and a side. The salad bar has several options of pasta salads, chopped lettuce with toppings, and a sweet slaw. We chose the blackened new potatoes as our other side. We thought that they were really good. Bread options included: hush puppies, cheese, bread, or yeast rolls. The hush puppies were a little overdone. So we were able to get an order of the cheese bread. Which is large yeast rolls with cheddar cheese, baked in the top. They were really good. The servers are friendly and never seemed to stop moving. The seating is basic older restaurant booths and tables which are comfortable. They offer interesting sayings at each table such as... "I'm not saying it's your fault. I said I'm blaming you." They have a full bar and lounge. Side note-the parking lot is huge and has plenty of room for vehicles towing trailers.

This trip we stopped for lunch both on the way down and the way back. Service was great, it is a buffet so not much to expect except for tea refills. My only complaint is the cleanliness is lacking. I had to look at a window sill full of dead flies and other insects. Since I got the same table both times this trip I looked at this mess twice (gave my wife the better view). There is a newish area to the left for dining. We couldn't sit there bc it was full. We sat in the old part and it was atrocious.
