Last year, one of my employees (a new guy) cashed his paycheck here, then came in Monday morning and said he lost it. I checked the bank, it hadn't gone thru so I 'Stop Paid' the check and reissued him one. That Thursday, the owner called me because I 'stop paid' a cashed check and my employee had tried to screw him. Now, I guess I could have told him he's out of luck and I know a few business owners that would have, but that's not very neighborly so I said "bring in the check, I'll pay it". Sure enough, he had a copy of my employee's ID and the check. I had him confront my employee, and I docked his pay the amount he screwed this guy for. My employee quit later that day. Now, a year or two later. This guy calls me. He had a counterfeit check written on my bank account. All the account numbers matched. The signature (was scanned) matched. Our check logo matched and the check number was within issued range. Since my employees go there, he recognized that the color and style of the check was wrong. It was a "Office Depot" special (they sell blank paycheck paper to allow people to make forgeries). He called me, that moment to alert me. THANK YOU SIR!!! He told me, he would fully cooperate with the police to help identify the person. In fact, he had her ID, cause he was holding it in his hand when he yelled at her "this is a fake check, I'm calling the police". She ran out to her car without it. He identified the gal from police mug shots. She's hit 5-6 other places... damn meth whores. I had to close my damn payroll account on a Friday 2 hours before issuing checks. I have no lesson in any of this, just a reinforcement of my core belief in karma (what comes around goes around). I'm glad I was pleasant to this guy in our first meeting. I gave him no trouble, and he returned the favor. Again, thank you.

And after that five years when had finally reached the goal that I needed to, US Bank denied me. You see, a key piece of information that one of their branch managers left out led me down a rabbit hole of dishonesty. I wasted more than five years with usbank. And moving forward will be taking my business elsewhere because of their dishonesty/piss poor financial advice.

This review is directed at AAA, not this office, per se. I have been a member for 38 years and have…read morenever had an issue with my account until 2022. My membership expires on 6/30 annually and I usually send a check on or around the 3rd of June. This year I decided to make my payment by a credit card, I completed the renewal form and mailed it in the envelope they provided, on June 3rd. I received a text message recently claiming that AAA had not received my payment and when I called today, 6/23/22, the agent blamed the USPS. I realize that mail delivery is slow, however, it does not take nearly 3 weeks for local mail delivery. This really concerns me since I believe that AAA has dropped the ball and now I have to worry about identity theft and that my credit card information is floating around somewhere. I am considering cancelling my Plus membership since I rarely use it.
