I needed money wired from my account to complete a purchase of a condominium. I thought it would take a few days to wire the money. But to my surprise, it was received the next day and the title company was able to complete the transaction and close the loan that day! They completely understood my situation and did everything they could to help me with it! They bent over backwards - knowing that I could save some money if I closed early and they made it happen! I contacted Finwise Bank/AFF back in May 2024 and asked them if I could split my last payment…read morewithout penalty (reporting me late to credit bureau), I was told no problem, we set up the payments (totaling $137), I was told since i had 23 months of on time payments and this was the 2nd loan I had with them and was never late, they would allow me to split payments without any reporting. I paid as agreed and they reported me 30 days late, which dropped my credit score 45 points. I would have borrowed the money from family if they had not mislead me. I called after I discovered the delinquency and asked for an investigation, I was told i would get a call back within 14 business days with a status of the investigation. I explained in detail what happened to the representative but I never received a call. I received an email from Transunion telling me that Finwise Bank/AFF reported that the information was correct and would stay on my report. I was a good customer, I shouldn't have been lied to or deceived like this. This is the 2nd time I have been told something by a rep for Finwise Bank/AFF and it's not true. I am tired of these companies allowing their reps to tell us whatever and then we face the consequences.
