Twice I've gone, depending on the hours displayed under their yelp business page. I dont know who's responsibility it is to post the actual hours, but whomever the may be, is really frustrating people's financial plans. I really don't like posting negative reviews about places, let alone about a financial type establishment, but I find it necessary when someone is happy their financial situation/problem is potentially solved, and then the solution seriously disappoints. This place is horrible to get a payday loan. The person at the front counter likes to choose playlists of her convenience, rather than helping out the people that need a service at this location. My aunt decided to go here and buy a money order. Not to good on english skills i​ think is the reason why they required to get her id and other ​personal information. Well careful when asked by these guys. I say be careful because​ I just havent been anywhere that requires all this to buy a simple money order. Yup just to buy not cash a money order of 30 dollars. Many thanks to Vanessa to assisting in a crisis!! We needed a check cashed (fairly large) and the mail ran beyond late so the banks were closed!! Despite not using this service at any prior point, Vanessa made the process quick and easy. The fee was competitive in terms of industry standard (based upon my research), and the service was EXCELLENT. Poor sense of urgency. Lack of customer service skills.

My god. I felt like I was being interrogated for a crime. Literally every question possible about where I got the check I was cashing, who wrote it, what's it's for, if I have the phone number of the person and I'm shocked that they didn't ask the persons social security number too. On top of that, 10% fee just to cash it which is negotiable. Then they have to get approval from corporate? Don't waste your time honestly. This place is ridiculous. read more

This is my very first review ever, I'm usually too lazy to write these kinds of reviews but I will make an exception this time so that people can save their time and bring their business elsewhere! Do not go to this place, worst customer service, even when we asked to speak to the manager, Elizsbeth, she was uncooperative, and did not want to hear about our complaint about her employee (who refuses to give us her name). My husband was picking up money for Western Union in the amount of $98.00, I repeat, $98, less than a hundred bucks. He had his Drivers License with him and the correct MTCN #. They refused to give him the money and said he needed to call the sender- to call Western Union because they needed to add my husband's middle initial! Which he didn't even have on his ID!!!! it's outrageous! The western union agent, where the money was sent from told us he didn't need to put his initial to get the money. They even wanted to speak to the employee at this Money Mart and she refused to speak to them over the phone. This place is so unprofessional, they do not know what they are doing and they absolutely have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Avoid this place, save your time and patience. read more

I mean employees were nice, went in there to cash a personal check as they advertised that they do and and I even called before driving and they said all I needed was the check and my ID. I get there and she asks someone about my check and then proceeds to tell me that I need to show her that I have $2000 in my account. I had more than enough to cover the check, just not $2000 I told her I don't have $2000 but more than enough to cover and I would be ok with showing her that. They said no. DO NOT GO HERE! They took almost 45 minutes to cash my husbands check and that was with no line. They require a ton of unnecessary information including references like you're taking out a loan. It is totally ridiculous. I can't believe they are still in business. Must be all new customers because I can't believe anyone would return to this dump and give all this personal information to have your check cashed when you can go to Walmart or any other check cashing place and cash your check quickly with no questions asked. read more
