I want to express a HUGE THANK YOU to Dr JAIBAJI, and his STAFF!!! I was sent there to have…read moresomething examined. IT WAS A SUPER, SUPER EASY EXPERIENCE!!! I went in for the procedure, and the doctor suggested that to remove my shirt in case of bleeding. He was very thoughtful. It took LESS THAN AN HOUR, to complete my procedure. And I was out of there. FOR MY FOLLOW UP, that was even faster, just 10 minutes. It was such a nice, comfortable and easy experience, THIS SOMEWHAT COMPLICATED SURGERY.

Referred to Dr. Jaibaji for a Mohs closure on my nose. Had 4 appointments total (consult, closure,…read moresuture removal, follow-up). Consult went fine, I guess. (There was no appt reminder.) It was about a 5-minute appt so he could see the area he needed to close. Closure was scheduled for the day after my Mohs surgery. He told me to call the office if I was done early, and he'd try to squeeze in the closure on the same day. My Mohs was done quickly, so I called at 9:40AM to see if he could squeeze me in. The receptionist was irritated and confused. There was some yelling back and forth in the background and I was told to come in the following day for the scheduled appointment as Jaibaji was not available on this afternoon. The receptionist seemed pretty irritated. I apologized and reiterated that Jaibaji told me during the consult to call in to check. (Reminder: I have a fresh open wound and I'm getting attitude over the phone from people who told me to call them.) I then asked her if she could confirm my appt time (as there was no appt reminder sent - a recurring theme). She was irritated again and asked me my name, then took two minutes to find my appt time. Closure day: I walked into the reception area, sat down. "Your co-pay is $35." I look around. No one else is in the reception area. All I see is a forehead and hair behind the back of a flat screen monitor. That was my greeting on the day of my closure. I paid. The closure went fine. It's my first, so I don't have anything to compare it to. He was a little sloppy with the anesthetic, some of which ran down into the corner of my eye. (I got to drive home with 8 stitches in my face and a numb, watery eyeball.) The only care guidance provided was that it was okay to do anything I wanted (i.e. take a shower that night). This was not good guidance. The conversation during the closure was interesting. Dr. Jaibaji entered into an existential AI rant and told me the reason I lost my job in IT was due to AI. It was not, but he didn't want to hear that. He only wanted to hear that AI will take everyone's job. Not exactly an enjoyable conversation for when someone's cutting your face open. When I returned for suture removal, I received the exact same greeting as before (none, just a stated copay amount due). The suture removal was quick. A slightly gentler hand and the ability to wash my face afterwards would have been appreciated, but it was a relief to get the stitches out. My follow-up appointment coincided with Federal jury duty. Had a reminder been sent, I would have called to reschedule ahead of time. They were understanding and told me to reschedule when my jury service concluded. I have not bothered as I'm sure any follow-up to this level of care would be pointless. The office has not followed-up. My nose is healing fine...I'm taking care of it. I'm leveraging online guidance and advice from people who've had Mohs surgery before. Strange bedside manner, unprofessional support staff, and inaccurate recovery guidance. Very weird experience. Can't recommend, unfortunately.

So I can say from experience, that the quality of the injector makes a huge difference. You definitely get what you pay for. Having a wide face has always been a complex of mine, and the masseter botox made my face slimmer, more proportional, and just snatched my face. I wanted results that are noticeable, but natural and that's exactly what I got. I highly recommend Dr Hess and his clinic, and I would never trust any one else with my face again.

He was very down to earth and knowledgeable, took his time answering my questions and made sure we were going with the right surgical choices. As soon as I had the consultation I knew he was the right surgeon for me. Since having my procedure I have been very pleased with the symmetry of my breasts and overall appearance. I'm able to do all of my upper body exercises and my new breasts suit my frame very well. He was able to go off my inspiration photos and created a very similar result. Dr. Hess is not only a surgeon but an artist of his craft- he pays close attention to detail and is a perfectionist. His standard of care is unparalleled. I couldn't have asked for a better final result and a year later everything is going smoothly. I did miss my last follow up with him but I hope this review serves as a statement of confidence and satisfaction from a happy patient. For future surgical procedures I would feel very safe in his hands.

He was the first doctor to point out how my face wasn't symmetrical due to my cerebral palsy and gave advice right away on what could be done to fix it. I also had a really difficult nose to operate on in my opinion because of the shape and severe breathing problems. He fixed my problem perfectly and made my nose look a million times better. My brow lift, fat transfer, chin implant, and rhinoplasty all turned out amazing and made my appearance much better. I'm very happy with my results and I'm incredibly thankful! Even if I forgot to ask a question or forgot some instructions the staff and doctor were soo helpful when I came back or called to ask. They were super helpful throughout the entire process & made me feel comfortable from pre-op to post-op. 10/10 recommend! THANK YOU TO THE SWEETEST TEAM AND BEST DOCTOR!

Dr. Chasen did not listen to me, he did a poor job on my surgery, didn't care about my dissatisfied…read moreresults and basically said "get lost" at my post op. Horrible bedside manner: insulting, talks over me at all appointments, dismissive of my concerns pre and post op, very paternalistic in his approach and repeatedly at separate post op appointments tried to justify his results by saying "you should be happy with your results because before You looked like Mr. Peanut!" At my last appointment I finally had to tell him to stop describing me like "MR. PEANUT" because it is insensitive. He just shrugged his shoulders and looked at me with an expression like "well you looked like Mr. Peanut!" I had a brow asymmetry and needed my right eyebrow lifted and the edges of both brows pulled up "fox brows." I had been correcting with Botox for 10 Years and it was just becoming a burden and is tricky for injectors. I came in 3 separate times with Dr Chasen to go over and over what I wanted and be precise because he talked over me a lot and he brushed off what I said. I showed pictures of "fox brows," I pulled up my eyebrow edges to demonstrate, he said "yeah yeah I'll pull up from there." I felt unsure he understood what I wanted because our appointments were so quick and he talked over me, but his step daughter the billing intake assured me he knows what "fox brows" are and "I'd love the results!" I assumed an eyebrow lift must be such a straightforward easy procedure and must be why he is so dismissive. I paid 9k, even though I was quoted 5k by Dr Umansky in La Jolla, I paid more because I assumed being in Del Mar he must be good and since it is my face, it is worth it. He did my procedure in 30 minutes. After it settled my right brow was STILL lower, still requires Botox to make them even. I had no outward lifting, as in NO FOX BROW. He changed my arch to be a frown shape-so no arch and no fox brows, just 2 ugly frowns. At the first post op he said "I'll just add some Botox to lift your lower brow and if you're not happy-we can go back in under local and fix it!" When I came back he was in a bad mood, didn't even listen, said my head was tilted in the photo and they are actually "even" and "I've done this on thousands of patients and doing this for 30 years, I know more than you and if you don't like it, that's on you, I'm not touching it and if you want it fixed go somewhere else." And walked out and didn't even say good bye to me. Mind you-I was polite, kind, gentle when I admitted I didn't love my results and still think my right eyebrow just wasn't lifted enough. I said I wouldn't even be mad if we had to go back in to correct-i just wanted a good result. I had tears in my eyes, I even cried a little at the last appointment, I was never rude, I never yelled, I kindly asked him not to describe me as Mr Peanut, but otherwise did not deserve after spending all that money to be treated like a piece of shit. :( I'm don't know if I'm more upset about my treatment or my eyebrows. I do know that Dr Chasen figured out by my address that my husband is friends with his ex partner Dr Vince Marin whom they had a falling out with and perhaps this was a personal vendetta, who knows. At one of my first appointments he mentioned "my old partner Dr Marin always swore by sculptra and it never worked, that guy didn't know what he was doing!" Anyway, yes, it's better, but it easily could have been even and I did not get any lateral eyebrow raise/fox brows! I STILL have to correct them with Botox. I was treated like a piece of shit for not graveling at his feet and being honest about my dissatisfaction. I should have listened to my gut in the beginning
