She opened the door for feedback very early on to make sure I felt comfortable with making any tweaks to my hair and makeup. I wore extensions for the first time ever during my trial for the wedding. She understood exactly how to work with my hair (that hardly ever holds a curl) to extend the life of the curls over a long period of time. My makeup was perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I wanted it to feel warm, but not glammy. I wanted to enhance my natural features and feel like "me." She pushed me a little outside of my comfort zone with a tone of lipstick during the trial that I ended up LOVING and it went so well with my dress, so we went for that color and it looked fantastic in all of the photos. I told her I wanted a natural look that wasn't too heavy for makeup and I showed her a few hairstyles and she made the perfect in-between that fit my entire look perfectly! I have always had an aversion to having my hair cut, about as welcome as a dental appointment. I have been used to barbers and hair stylists who do not listen to me and cut my hair too short.
