I recently referred a small business client and Nancy agreed to take on the account. Unfortunately, after she got involved she became unresponsive to phone calls and emails. I spent hours of my time trying to find her to pick up a check she was supposed to deposit weeks ago, but she is in the wind. I had to contact the party that sent the check to have them issue a stop payment and mail a reissued check to me. Personally, I think Nancy is only interested in selling QBooks. Mark spent approximately 30 minutes with me, explaining how various expenses should be recorded in Quickbooks. Afterward, he sent me home with a list of documents he would need to file my taxes. I provided Mark with what he needed via email and he did not respond. I sent several follow-up emails asking if he could move forward with helping with our taxes. Mark NEVER responded. Once I realized that Mark would not be helpful, I requested TWICE that he return my documents I provided in our first meeting and he still NEVER RESPONDED. I see that his website is still running so I assume he is still running a business. His lack of communication with me is pathetic. I have taken my business to McGowan and Guntermann and they have been outstanding. I happily pay my accounting and tax bills to McGowan and Gunterman, not Mark Pasternak.
