    Half of my burrito

First time here and enjoyed our burritos. I ordered chicken and husband got his steak. Very straightforward menu (which is nice) simple ingredients also very nice. They offer hand dipped Mexican ice cream and paletas (popsicles) featuring many traditional flavors. Their drinks are canned and bottled, no fountain drinks. People who work here are very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to trying their birria tacos! They also offer vegetarian burrito with your choice of two of three veggies (cactus, mushrooms and squash). The cheese and sour cream are vegan if you decide to give that a try.

This restaurant has gone into the freshly painted building where the Nonla Taqueria in Schoolcraft once was situated. There is a selection of ice cream flavors and treats. as well as a small menu of typical Tex Mex entrees like burritos and tacos. Our review is of the burritos, of which we had three: chicken, shrimp, and the chorizo/steak. It was take out. We were returning back to Kalamazoo from Indiana on 131 and spotted the new sign. The interior has 5 booths, though no one was eating in when we walked in. Two additional customers came in to get take out Tex Mex as we were waiting. The young girl at the counter seemed pleasant but my questions (for example, were they strictly counter service or was there table service as well for people eating in?) seemed to elude her. So I just took photos while my girl ordered. And the three burritos, which we had at home, were yummy. I think we'll return.
