Long story and some of this is on me but I was originally disappointed with the response I received…read morefrom the staff when I called about returning a gun I purchased. Greg (owner) called me back and explained the process. Being a new firearm owner, I appreciated the insight into the process. Greg also handled my issue. Things are sometimes bumpy but how you respond to the challenges speaks volumes. Thank you for the assist Greg!

Paint by the Numbers... (Service, Selection and Value.)…read more Service: The Service used to be top notch and maybe the best of all the major shops. This is no longer the case. Most staff are not motivated and don't want to move off their backsides. (The unmotiviated, overweight guys who could stand in for the Oompa Loompas in Willie Wonka remake...) There are two fellows that are top notch. One of those people (Joe) had since left as of the last time I was there. I have not seen him lately. The other thin, young fellow with glasses was and is enthusiastic, switched on, and wants to sell you what you were looking for. This fellow is a salesman of the first order. I hope management is paying attention! Selection: Selection is good for the retail footprint that they have, but they are not doing anyone favors with their prices. They mostly cater to the black rifle and tupperweare pistol crowd. Having said that, I have bought several items there and the prices were not terrible for what I bought. I used to enjoy going there. Lately, is a matter of routine when I make the rounds. Value: You can do better at other mom and pop shops in the area that don't have the size shop that these people do. Ammo tends to be medium to high and in price. They sometimes have unique calibers, but still you are paying retail or above dollar for most things. Example: Henry .22 U.S. Survival Rifle there was $525.00. At area big box stores, they have them for $269.00! Not my type of item, but this is an example of what you will pay. In their defense, they sometimes have good prices on bulk target ammo sales, such as 12 and 20 Ga. Sporting Clay loads. I have included four ways they can improve the customer experience: 4 Tips to Better Cater to Your Customers ( Credited From Customer Think:) 1. Identify Their Priorities I'll bet most people have a core reason for choosing one business over another. ... 2. Minimize Service Delays The simpler route is usually going to get the most traction. ... 3. Listen to Their Feedback Nothing is more frustrating for customers than businesses that don't listen to their feedback. ... 4. Create Personalized Interactions ... I hope the management reads this and motivates their staff to provide better service and sell! After all, that is how you pay the light bill and meet payroll!
