I've discovered so many brands here that I genuinely love and wear on repeat, including Shaina Mote, B Sides, Cawley, Flore Flore, Hai, &Daughter, and Ichi Antiquités. They also carry Living Libations, a line of organic, pure, renegade beauty products that aligns perfectly with the shop's thoughtful ethos. I'm especially obsessed with the Frankincense Best Skin Ever. Yes, it's an investment, but the pieces are exceptionally well made and designed to last. This is slow fashion and conscious consumption done right. I don't come here to splurge all the time. I'm intentional about whether I'll truly wear something, and when it makes sense, I go for it. Other times, I just browse and get inspired, so don't let sticker shock stop you from checking it out. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable without ever feeling pushy. They also offer a one-time store credit or exchange for eligible items within 10 days of purchase. All sale items are final. Pro tip: subscribe to their mailing list for some sweet deals here and there. A must-visit if you appreciate independent designers, timeless style, and quality over quantity.

The dress was a gift for my daughter, and I first emailed Mama Luma on September 8 to exchange size 7-8 for 9-10. Follow-ups on September 9, 10, and 14 received no response--not even an acknowledgment. I also contacted their Instagram team and called customer service, only to be directed back to the same unanswered email inbox. Meanwhile, the exchange window keeps passing despite my repeated attempts to resolve this. Premium prices should come with basic customer support. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend Mama Luma based on how they have handled it.

Fast forward a little while and I'm now at eight pairs. I wear jeans every day, and these have quickly become the only jeans I want to wear. Up until last week, my favorite pair was the Carpenter. I had been waiting for months for the Easy Riders to come back in stock, and when they finally did earlier this month, I was able to get the pair I'd been waiting for. I got them last Wednesday, and I'm not kidding when I say I haven't worn anything else since. They're that good. The Italian denim feels amazing, and the fit and quality are just on another level compared to anything else I've owned. And I have to mention Beau. I've talked with him a couple of times, and this guy is an absolute rockstar. He's incredibly knowledgeable, super helpful, and just genuinely one of the nicest people you'll ever deal with. You can tell he really cares about the product and the people who buy it, and that makes a huge difference. It's pretty crazy to think I randomly saw these on social media, decided to try one pair, and now I own eight. I wear them every day, and I honestly don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're thinking about trying Ace Rivington, just do it. You might end up like me with a closet full of them.
