Jackie, who owns Paws4Moms, and I discussed at the end of Sept. having one of her pet sitters take care of my 5 cats when I go out of town. She understood that my oldest cat was diabetic and needed insulin injections 2x a day. I was pleased when she told me Renee was qualified. At the subsequent meeting we had at my house, it didn't take me long to find out that Renee did NOT know how to give the injections. It was my understanding that Jackie and Renee had worked together for quite some time and I felt like Jackie was conning me. She came straight out and said I could train Renee on the injections but she would have to charge me $10 for a training visit which I thought was strange since she was the one who misrepresented Renee's experience. We finally came to an agreement that Renee would do one free training visit and I would call Jackie to set up the time. When I called to give Jackie my dates for the end of October she said Renee was unavailable and she was not able to give me an alternate pet sitter. She suggested I look on my own. I asked her about Christmas and she said she would have to check her calendar and get back with me. Today is October 25 and I have never heard back from Jackie. I think Jackie talks a big game but when it comes right down to it, she can't be trusted to come through. I do not recommend Moms4Paws as a reliable, trustworthy, pet sitting company. read more
