This place is a disgrace to the automotive industry, and the owner, Luigi, should not be in business. I brought my son's car in for inspection stickers -- something simple. Luigi kept the car for TWO WEEKS and never did any work. No inspection. No repairs. Not even a phone call. Just silence, excuses, and complete disregard for our time. During that time, my son and I had to share my car -- all while he was preparing for his high school graduation. He had graduation rehearsals, a job to get to, and so did I. This caused real stress and hardship, but Luigi didn't care. He held the car hostage without explanation. When we called for updates, he was rude and nasty every single time. After two weeks of no progress, we went to the shop in person to get answers. What happened next was appalling. As soon as I entered the building -- calmly and respectfully -- Luigi came storming through the door, screaming at me in front of my teenage son. I hadn't even said a word. He yelled, "I'll call you when it's ready!" then shouted, "Take your paperwork and your car and GET OUT!" He was angry, aggressive, and hostile, acting as though I had no right to even be there. To make things worse, his wife was just as rude, cold, and completely unprofessional. Let me be clear: I am an African-American woman, and based on how I was treated -- with open hostility, no provocation, and no professionalism -- I strongly believe this was racially motivated. Luigi spoke to me with a level of disrespect and aggression that made me feel targeted, humiliated, and unsafe. My son watched it all unfold, and it was heartbreaking. Luigi originally quoted $250 for inspection stickers -- yet no service was performed. Just two weeks of delays, verbal abuse, and a total lack of accountability. Even though I feared for my life in that moment, one thing is certain: this will be the last time Luigi ever screams at a Black woman like that without being held accountable. He may have thought he could get away with it -- but not this time. If you are a woman, a person of color, or simply someone who expects to be treated with dignity and respect, then this is not the place for you. I will never go back. I will never recommend this business. And I will make sure everyone I know stays far away from Five Points Gulf Service Center in Blue Bell, PA. There are plenty of honest, respectful mechanics out there. Luigi is not one of them. This shop does not deserve your trust, your time, or your business.

I had a tune up there cost me nearly $600 didn't change 1 coil!!! Months after I had them replace my water pump which cost me just under $500 they failed to put my timing belt on correctly and since I knew nothing about cars, they allowed me to leave their shop with a crazy ticking noise as if I had a Diesel engine and I made sure to bring it to their attention that's not a sound I ever heard prior to bring it in. They insisted that I take it to who did my oil change?!!! Days go by I'm on my way home from work and boom! Long story short I ended up having to get a new engine because they failed to pay attention to detail. Cost me $3,000.00!!!!! Earlier this week, my vehicle was struck by a delivery van and declared a total loss by the insurance company. The initial valuation was low but I put a lot of work into my car this past year. TLDR: They appear to be running a scam to do unnecessary repairs…read more I took my 2014 BMW in for routine service. The service rep called to advise me of a "serious problem." He noted the the engine block was dripping oil from two locations. He described and sure enough, sent pictures of dirty oil gummed up all over the engine. He recommended replacing the oil pan gasket and the head gasket. It would require a complete engine disasemble to get to the gaskets. Estimated cost: about $5,500. I was puzzled because I'd noticed no oil drip marks in the driveway where the car sits overnight. It didn't make sense. I hesitated for a moment and then said "No, don't do it." I retrieved the car and took it to a local auto repair place that I've used many times when my cars have been out of warranty over the years. They've always seemed fair, reasonable, and have been great communicators. They confirmed that oil was leaking from somewhere, but were puzzled by its distribution. In their words, it was "everywhere, when if it was the two gaskets mentioned the oil would be found it two discrete places on the outside of the engine block." They wanted to confirm it was the two gaskets the BMW repair shop had cited. They cleaned the oil off the engine, topped up the oil and let the car run at idle for about 4 hours--and confirmed a leak was present. However, the source of the leak was not what BMW said...rather, the rubber gasket on the inside of the oil filler cap at the top of the engine block was missing. A new oil cap ($12.00) was fitted and the repair shop charged me $150.00 for the diagnosis. It's been 6 months and there's been no oil leak since. I can only conclude that the BMW repair shop intentionally removed the gasket from the oil filler cap. To date, they have done all of the service on the car. Until I took it to my service guy, no one else had ever been under the hood of that car. I certainly hadn't removed the gasket, and furthermore, the gasket fits very tightly inside the filler cap and rests under a small flange around the edges. You would have to use a screwdriver blade to pry it out of its housing. I can form no other conclusion but that at a previous visit, the gasket was removed intentionally as the first step in a scam to create the apparent need for a repair that didn't actually exist. The guy who figured things out for me explained the service reps at dealership service centers earn a commission on their sales of repair and maintenance services. Therefore, there is an incentive to create repair needs. Over the years, he claimed to have seen a fair number of similar situations where the customer seemed to have been taken advantage of under suspicious circumstances. Well, I am done with that service location. My local guy will handle my car service from now on. And when I replace the car in about 3 or 4 years, it won't be from this dealer.
