Positives include their app and the store itself. Very aesthetic and feminine, and has spacious seating area despite being in Square One's packed Food District. The app has a good welcome offer and occasional offers + reward points, etc. Pickup was easy too. But I was here purely for the food so it didnt do much for me. Overall, it's just bland. The donut is only a bit chewy, but the texture is quite dry compared to other donuts. I expected some semblance of filling on the inside (again, thinking it was like mochi), but there's none. The glaze flavours are unique, but there's not enough flavour to really taste it as its just drizzled on top. I also got the Dubai Chocolate Matcha Latte drink; this was a bit better, but still overall bland - like 80% chocolate milk, 20% matcha. Kind of like a watered down frappucino. While its not bad, it's mid. All in all, seems like they are a great date spot and great for Insta-worthy gifts. Single donuts are packed in a transparent little box, the decor is very pink, etc. But taste wise honestly Id rather grab a donut at Krispy Kreme or Tims, where the donuts are not as gritty/dry, and far less expensive.

This time, I visited them for their new menu items: "Banana Bae Pudding", "Tiramisu Dream", "Tiramisu Viet Coffee", "Banana Bae Viet Coffee" and "Banana Bae Pudding Matcha Latte". The desserts were fresh, creamy and right amount of sweetness. I have always loved their Vietnamese Coffee, butt the new coffee options with tiramisu or banana pudding is next level. However, it's clean, bright and has a photo-worthy swing like the other location I've been to. So many unique flavours to choose from. The mochi donuts was a hit among our group when brought it over. I mean you can't go wrong with mochi donuts. Service was worse. We ordered six donuts and coffee without issue at first. When the woman behind the counter asked about drinks, my cousin made a light joke that we were American. Her demeanor flipped instantly. The smile disappeared. Responses turned short, clipped, and dismissive. My wife asked what coffee they were known for and was told, "We're a donut place, we're not known for coffee." A polite request for a recommendation got the same curt reply while she clearly wanted us finished and gone. No thank you after the order. No acknowledgment when we left. The change was obvious to everyone in our group and left us feeling distinctly unwelcome the moment our nationality came up. Underfilled drinks plus cold, unprofessional treatment is a bad combination. Decent donuts don't excuse being rushed and treated differently once someone learns you're American. This isn't the hospitality Canada is known for. We won't be back.
