I wouldn't know to stop by this bakery if my friend didn't bring me there! We made our way over from Christie Lakes Conservation and I was told this is a stop we must make. Inside this bakery, there's fresh made mini donuts in many flavours, scones, cookies and pies! My friend highly recommended their pies. The smallest size it comes in is 6 inches starting at $11. I purchased a small apple crumble pie and a box of scones in raisin and cheese flavour and my friend purchased the wild blueberry pie and box of raisin scones. We had the wild blueberry pie that evening and it was very delicious! I had the apple crumble after and it's got slices of apples inside. Their scones are pretty large and makes it a perfect breakfast item to go with a cup of coffee. Both the cheese and the raisin are delicious. I really cannot decide which one I like more. I can't wait to return next time and buy more!

Cute little roadside bakery just across from the park entrance. Phenomenal pie. We had the strawberry rhubarb, definitely worth the stop.

Adorable pie shop off the side of the road

PIE! This place is adorable - I was sad to see they didn't already have a yelp page but obviously they are doing good without it! So my family and I watched some pie show that was on PBS and when we saw this little pie shop on the side of the road I screamed PIES and we immediately made a Uturn to go inside. At first we didn't think they were open because it was later in the day, but we read the sign and saw that we made it in time! Each day the bakery makes different lies in small or large, plus tarts, cookies, and other goodies. We sampled a few different tarts and ended up buying six mini tarts, some cheese scones, cookies, and a peach pie! Make sure you have cash or at least a debit card because this place takes cash only. Don't worry - there is an ATM just a few feet away from the register. My only complaint is that they didn't offer chocolate pie, but maybe it was just because of the day we went on.

At the market, they sell jams, salsas and assorted fresh fruit and vegetables including sweet corn and tomatoes. They also offer butter tarts, beautiful pies, fancy cookies and other baked goods made daily on the premises. We tried the artisan pizza slices with unique toppings like sweet peppers, mushrooms, zucchini and olives. They were delicious but lukewarm even after they were reheated. Outside, there are picnic tables available. I found their prices high; you pay a premium for freshness. There was a long, slow moving line inside to pay. Social distancing was not adhered to because the market is so small. They had a large, attractive field of sunflowers.
