She advocates for what her clients want and helps them advocate for themselves as well. The specialist she recommends really know their stuff (chiropractic care, breech specialists, and ultrasounds to name a few). I could not have chosen a better practitioner/midwife to be under the care of. So grateful she's part of my birth team. Her weekly prenatal group zoom calls have been supremely helpful during this difficult time. They've brought a sense of community I felt like I was missing during this pandemic. Knowing that others are going through the same things is so so helpful during this time. I love cheering on fellow members as they get closer to meeting their babies and cheering on the newly pregnant people as well! And her Innate Journey class with Haize Hawke was the cherry on top! So informative, so realistic and caring. Precautions were taken to keep everyone safe during class, while bringing us together as a small group of couples getting ready to meet our babies. We touched on the spiritual and the practical. I've never felt closer to my spouse than after we finished the last class. Haize and Blyss are an absolute dream team!

Every prenatal appointment I felt seen, heard, and cared for in such a deep way. Blyss went above and beyond to check in with me during the ongoing pandemic/covid-19 and during the black lives matter movement. Blyss even created a weekly zoom group for her clients to hold space for us to breath and also connect and ask questions. I was bless to have a homebirth at 41 Weeks with Blyss and she was so professional and caring. Her calming presence and years of experience illuminated during my labor. I trusted her and she constantly reminded me that I can do it. Blyss is passionate about being a midwife, its not a job for her, you can see it's her spiritual calling.

This Chiropractic office was recommended to me by another chiropractor that lives closer to me (5…read moreminutes away) that was seeing my child for constipation issues. I was unaware that they were an hour away from my house. I can truly say that the care my child and I received from Dr. Flores and Dr. Sepulveda is 1000% worth the drive. My child's constipation issues have gone away. I am pregnant and have been getting chiropractic care since around 24 weeks and have gotten so much relief from it. What sets this office apart from the rest? A lot! They have a play area right by the receptionist that includes toys and books for the kids, they hand out stickers, always have goodies on the counter for you to enjoy. This office has chiropractic care, massage therapy, and acupuncture. My one visit is not just chiropractic care. It begins with a back stretch while laying face down on a special massage table that moves my hips and legs up and down, a heating pad on my back, a massage, then comes the adjustment and a couple stretches. The adjustment consists of moves I've never had done to me before but have made a huge difference in my comfort throughout this pregnancy. My favorite part about coming here is that Dr. Sepulveda goes above and beyond to make sure I leave feeling good every time. I've gone to chiropractors in the past that do their routine adjustment and if I say I still feel discomfort they say to come again in a couple days or a week. Like I mentioned earlier, my 1 hour drive is worth the experience and relief this office provides me. I highly recommend Dr. Sepulveda and her team.

The treatment helped a lot and I felt better knowing my baby had less and less tension after her appointments. We still come here and I'd recommend checking it out to anyone who has a baby. They can't talk and it makes so much sense that they'd have tension from being in utero or from birth trauma, etc! Plus the doctor provides all kind of tips on my baby's development which are much appreciated.

Right away from 30 weeks pregnant she always made sure that if I had any questions that I could turn to her, from prenatal headaches to information on placenta encapsulation. She answered all my texts and emails quickly and I never felt that I couldn't reach her, something I feel is very important for a birth worker! You can tell she has a passion for what she does and wants to help woman claim their birth. I had my daughter on October 15th, 2017 at home under the presence of midwives. When Torrey arrived to the birth, I felt a sudden calm knowing she was there and she helped me get through transition and pushing with her own grace and ease. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a doula that absolutely loves her work and has a passion for babies. She also encapsulated my placenta for me (my husband and I had tried to do our first one ourselves and that did not work out too well, haha). The pills arrived in a lovely jar and from the minute I took the first one, I knew it had been prepared well because not only did my postpartum nerves calm, my breast milk supply increased! Having Torrey as my doula was a wonderful experience, you cannot go wrong choosing her for your own birth!

Torrey is one incredible woman who truly loves the miracle of her work. She was with me all day in my contractions helping me understand my body & keeping track of their duration. She made sure I ate food to keep my energy up (which I truly needed). She even held coconut water or juice for me while I sipped from a straw to keep me hydrated! She was so positive & helpful through the entire process. I plan to use her again for baby #2 in a couple years! Thanks Wiggle Womb for your gentle love & helping my babe arrive safely!

Till this day I have not received any sort of receipt for the "services" provided. Adding to my feelings of being ignored, since she got what she wanted the payment of $2,800 dollars.

This review truly breaks my heart to write. When I get pregnant with my second child and I…read morecontacted Marisol right away to book her as my Doula. I was so excited to finally meet her in person and I signed the contract right away. I immediately sent over my deposit and I requested that she provide me with a receipt for the deposit . The fact that she was initially declining my request for a receipt because she wanted to wait until after the baby was born was probably the first sign that trouble was coming. I went back-and-forth with her and asked to get my receipt for the money that I had already paid so that I could use that receipt for a reimbursement with my flexible spending account. She still refused to give me the receipt so I reached out to my flexible spending company and asked them if I had to wait for the baby to be born in order to be reimbursed and they said no. Finally, Marisol agreed to give me a receipt for my deposit. I found this quite odd since people generally get a receipt when money exchanges hands. My husband and I meet with Marisol around 36 weeks to go over the birth plan. I tell her that my plan is to have her help me labor at home as much as possible since I wanted to reduce the likelihood of medical interventions. I also asked they she capture some photos for us. Marisol explained that we should not contact her right away if labor starts in the middle of the night, only call when ready. She kept stressing this point and even emailed me a document that says to only call when we are ready for her to come. A couple of weeks later I go into labor late one night. My labor progressed quickly and we called Marisol when we wanted her to come over, no answer. I then texted her. A short time later I told her we were headed to the hospital. Labor pains got so intense that I was not able to monitor my phone so my husband and Marisol were texting. Labor pains were so intense so I requested an epidural at the hospital. Once Marisol got this information , she assumed she had more time. I guess she didn't take into account that that epidural was not completed. Long story short, she didn't make her way to the hospital until after the kid was born. Per her contract, she had 90 minutes to get to me. My labor was quick but she had a 3 hour heads up. I was actually disappointed that she came to the hospital because now it feels like a random acquaintance just showed up for one of the biggest days of your life and now you have to entertain them. She stayed with us until we got transferred to our postpartum room. At this point, Marisol was not a part of my birth story at all and I was angry. A couple days later I immediately requested a partial refund. She denied my request saying she was "available." Instead she offered me one additional 3 hour postpartum visit. I didn't accept that and said we could discuss this matter when she did her postpartum visit. During the visit, Marisol said she could tell that I "felt some type of way" and she asked me to share my feelings. I told her I felt cheated, I'm out a lot of money and she didn't have to do anything. It was her choice to not come to me right away, I followed all of her instructions. Marisol then told me she was actually on her way to me but she needed time to shower, clean her doula supplies and pack her doula bag. Once she heard about the epidural, she returned home to pack snacks. This information infuriated me....she missed my birth for this?!?! This is an area where you don't get a do over. I would imagine that with the nature of this job you would always have your supplies clean and ready. She ended up offering me 12 postpartum hours. I told her that was not what I wanted since I didn't want to think of things for her to help me with. In plus, it's easy to get help during the day. I ended up requesting my money back and threatening legal action since she breached her own contract. In the end she agreed to return 1/2 of my money ($1400) and I was able to avoid legal action. (I didn't mind taking legal action, this was an open and shut case according to the guidance I received). I'd say she still came out ahead, $1400 for 2 short visits to my house and a short 45 minute visit to the hospital after my kid was born. I am beyond bummed about this experience. So yes, I still "feel some type of way!" I'm not sure how you could say you were available yet you missed the birth. And I still can't comprehend the rationale. I'm so confused.
