Three of my traveling mates and I sat down at a table on the outdoor patio to eat at this restaurant. Everyone ordered drinks and one of our four decided that he would rather get a dish from another restaurant. This area has about 10-15 restaurants all together, each with an outdoor patio. Our "outsider", lets call him Andy, ordered his food and then sat back down to enjoy his drink and our conversation. The other restaurant actually delivered his meal, in a take-out container, to our table at the Italian restaurant. All of our meals arrived and our Andy opened up his meal to eat with us. Within one minute, the owner of the restaurant came outside and started to scream at Andy with wonderful Italian hand gestures to go along with the loud voice. It was apparent that he didn't want Andy eating someone else's food at a table in his restaurant. Now, what I object to is not that he was upset about someone eating another restaurants food at one of his tables, it is that he had the opportunity to communicate his concerns in a civil manner. A simple "I am sorry, but this area has a policy where food must be eaten at the restaurant it is ordered at and you will either need to put the food away or take it outside the patio". If that is what happened, we would have been fine. I am glad that the owner didn't have a gun available because it felt like if he did have it, he would have pointed it at Andy. So, what did we do, Andy picked up and sat down at the public fountain that is literally 5 feet away from the tables and ate his meal. If you look thru the pictures for this restaurant you will see one with the outdoor patio tables and you will see the public fountain. After he ate, he came back to the table to finish his drink. Ok, I need at least one comment about the food...we ordered 2 pizza's and a pasta dish. We had just come from Naples, Italy, so the pizza simply didn't live up to anything more than average. The pasta dish was pretty good. All in all...no reason to ever go back after a missed opportunity for better service from the owner.

They have even second floor which is opened mostly in evening. Here you can taste some nice cocktails or sundaes and from now also pay by cards. Every meal which I had here was great. Every pizza, burger or cutlets were perfect. I can recommend Arabishe pfanne or Asia pfanne, amazing meals.

The ambiance is great, but what was bothersome are the many reserved table, which prevented us from sitting were we wanted to. Seems that those tables stayed empty all evening long. Management should look into changing their policy. And here are the reasons why I couldn't give you a better grade: The meatball were cold in the center and really were tasteless. The chicken kebab wasn't a kebab at all. It was just 2 slices of dry chicken breast, with a salad and french fries. The dish was mediocre. The bread and zaziki were tasty. The potato wedges were just deep fried and had no taste. I believe the pizza was the best part of the dinner. We had a number of pitchers and long drinks. The prices seem high for what we received. Total damage for 3: Euro 122.
