I awoke on one of those days, just before I was due to go away, with no hope of finding a cat sitter for the weekend. After a friend recommended Brooklyn Cat Sitting to me on a whim, I reached out (Brooklyn Bark never got back to me for what it's worth) and Brooklyn Cat Sitting was quick to respond with a lifeline. The communication from the coordinator was excellent. The warm enveloping cloud-like pillow of comfort I felt when I chatted with my weekend sitter Kris via FaceTime left me feeling carefree. Kris had delivered the knockout punch to my stress. But this was only the beginning. We communicated via the Time to Pet app. As I thought of things I forgot, I messaged Kris and received a quick responses followed by with waves of relief at having made the right decision. I received lovely photos and wonderful updates that made me smile and great little messages (and white lies) about how well-behaved my little cuties were. I know for a fact they're demons, but she did make me feel, for a brief moment, that I was a good cat dad. Thank you Kris and Brooklyn Cat Sitting for a great experience! I look forward to using you again!

I had an unruly beast of a puppy when she first came along this summer. She knew right away how to keep him in behavior mode, while still being very sweet to him. She's not one of those lazy dogwalkers either, doing the minimum as many do. It is great for me as I often come home from work to a pleasantly exhausted dog. Now we've hit fall and I feel like I have a much more manageable creature to return home to after a long day of work. In addition to being one of the more trustworthy and honest people I have ever hired in such a capacity, she's also very available and when she can't assist me, she knows who else to refer me to. Oh, and she has a way with people too - after dogsitting once, she left me a vase of flowers and a nice note on a card, reporting all the things my dog got to do while I was away. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a responsible & considerate person to trust their animal friend with.

She had no problem handling the rules of the house in that regard. Also, our dog is a rescue - he was neglected and abused before we came across him, so he doesn't trust people readily. She was not intimidated at all and, although he was a bit wary at first, she soon buttered him up. In addition to being clear about who was the alpha, she gave him great rub-downs - after years of neglect, he really needs a lot of affection in order to trust people. She clearly had a natural grasp of canine hierarchy and dog mentality and once she got him to trust her, she even started to offer him some obedience training. He always ended up very orderly after an afternoon with her. My fiance and I were very pleased! We, and our four cats and dog, highly recommend this great dogwalker and petsitter!

A True Gem in Cobble Hill!…read more Leaving our dog Sadie for the first time while going abroad was incredibly nerve-wracking. She's our baby, and the thought of being away from her for so long had my husband and me both anxious. Thankfully, we found Canine Corner, and from the moment we walked in, we knew she was in loving, capable hands. The team at Canine Corner went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. They were kind, patient, and completely understanding of how hard it is to leave your pup behind. Every update we got while we were away reassured us that Sadie was having an amazing time -- and judging by how she pulls us toward their door every time we walk by, I think it's safe to say she had a blast! I especially want to thank Lucas, who truly went the extra mile for us. We were stuck in terrible traffic on our way back into the city and were panicked we wouldn't make it in time to pick up Sadie before closing. Lucas kindly stayed a bit past closing this past Sunday just so we could reunite with her -- and I can't express how much that meant to us. That kind of care and thoughtfulness is rare. We're absolutely thrilled with our experience and will continue to recommend Canine Corner to everyone we know in the neighborhood and beyond. Thank you again to Lucas and the entire team for treating Sadie like one of your own! -- A very grateful Cobble Hill dog mom
