Admittedly it looks a bit retro inside but the staff were fairly nice and they obscure part of the doorway so people walking past are less likely to stop and oggle you if your standing infront of the mirror getting measured for hemming. I am sure this is greatly appreciated by self conscious folks. In terms of prices here I found what they charged me to a be a bit shocking. I was charged $21.00 for a rip about the length of my pinkie that probably took them all of five minutes to take care of. Part of this price however comes from the 25% markup they include if you ask for a rush job. Normally I would be understanding of such a policy but it rubbed me the wrong way here in two different ways. First off when I initially brought the coat in the lady came around the counter and stood infront of the sign they have on the wall that explains the markup and how much it is. Secondly I felt that things were phrased to me in a deceiving way. When I was asked about when I needed my coat back by I was asked "did you need this today or can you come back tomorrow?" Nowhere in there was it mentioned about the surcharge on rush work and as a first time customer of this business how was I too know? Another weird thing worth mentioning is how the lady who rang me up didn't really want to take my debit card but when I told her I had no cash or credit she begrudgingly agreed to attempt to use it. I guess their machine has an issue with reading debit cards but why on earth would you not call and attempt to get someone in to look at it or swap out your terminal for a new one? Finally in terms of the actual job they did it was good. The stitch is strong and they color matched the forest green of my jacket exactly. Was it worth the $21.00? I don't know that I can say yes. They are conveniently located in the mall however and the people running it are very nice so if your like me where it's a rarely needed service it could be worth it to throw a few extra dollars towards nice folks running a small locally owned business.

I was not impressed at all with their prices. For used item they are pricey especially if they get there inventory from donations. They're selection is massive. I only explored about five percent of the store. I found this jacket that they were selling for $20.99 and cost co is selling it for $14.99 (on sale). I had to do something about that price!!! I asked the front desk to look up the real value of the item. I don't recommend this store. Winners /Marshall's wells cheaper items than this store.

A bit smaller than the Whyte Ave location but it has a great selection of clothes and goods. Nice and clean inside. There is a donation drop off zone outside. A large parking lot services the strip mall so you should never have an issue with parking. I like this store as it is way less busy than the Whyte Ave location so that makes the shopping experience a bit better.

I was able to find a Wilfred brand camel coloured long sleeves top and a pair of black Aldo ankle boots. I'm sure the store is picked over but I still saw many items I was interested in. I think there's a good flow of new stuff coming in from people selling their stuff to the store. Overall, this place is off to a strong start! We don't really have a good thrift store in this part of town. It's a welcome addition in my opinion. I enjoy shopping at the other Plato's Closets but they're far away from where I live. We looked around to see if someone was near by. Nope. Lastly, even though the store is the same layout there are flaws. There's a hidden area in the kids dept that goes nowhere. I'm confused by that choice. The selection right now is bleak but I suspect once the store gets humming and they have some metrics the stock will increase. The store was kind of messy, perhaps it was because it was a weekend. I also found it difficult to find what items were actually on sale. There was a rack of pants that said 50% off. I grabbed a pair and set out to double check the price. I found someone and she asked where I had found it. She said only the marked pants were on sale. I went through the 17 pairs of pants and found 3 that were on sale. I was finally able to find a pair of pants on sale and also picked up 2 tank tops. Not in a hurry to go back.

Arrived a couple minutes early with masks on to have our temperatures taken. Santa sits behind a clear partition with a clear face shield. Kids sit on the ledge in front of the partition so Santa ends up showing up behind kiddo with arms outstretched (note: masks stay on in the photo). That being said all the staff involved (read: the two helper elves who should really be offered proper elvish footwear; and of course Santa) were exceptional. Santa was warm and welcoming and perfectly suited for the role. My favourite one yet! After the photo your child is able to talk to Santa from a socially distanced space on the other side of the partition. Afterwards your one free photo is printed off and placed in a card. You have the option of purchasing the digital copy if more are required. We felt safe and would highly recommend this experience!

We were one of two couples interested in the same table. We were told that if the other couple purchased the display table we could buy a new one for the same price as the display model. The display model sold for $3115. We were charged almost $300 more for our table. The owner would not honour his salesman's commitment and sell us our table at the price promised by his employee.
