I was super excited to order from this company after seeing it on TikTok and all the outstanding comments. I ordered on 10/10/2025. It would have arrived on time if not due to USPS shipping it elsewhere, which was not on Molly's end. But what was on there end was them not shipping half of my paid-for order, and how it was shipped when I received it. Pictures attached will show what makes me not want to order anything else from this company. The level of care is not given when shipping is crazy. If it scuffed the small item, I can't imagine what that could've looked like as a buckle and receiving one damaged. I called them on 10/23/2025 and spoke with the customer service representative, who is amazing and takes her time trying to make heads or tails out of what happened. She is really amazing every time I speak with her. But she claimed they would overnight me the second part of my order, which was a chain to complete the order by Tuesday, 10/28/2025. They instead had only printed the other. And did not ship it until 10/28/2025 putting it way behind. I receive no tracking, no email, no nothing, just a complete space from Molly's themselves. So I called again on 10/28/2025, and they claimed it was shipped, but they had no clue how they shipped it. They also did NOT ship it overnight as they promised, which means more than likely to lose it or receive it damaged, again. Again, the customer service representative is outstanding, and honestly, whatever you pay her, it needs to be doubled because while these mistakes are not on her end but the company's end themselves she goes above and beyond to help tend to the issues. Finally received the 2nd part of my package on. 11/1/2025 which is way after if it had been over nighted as promised. If it wasn't for the customer service representative who had helped 2 times, both times I had called. I would more than likely look elsewhere to get our wedding buckles made. But I am going to assume if I add the details like she described onto my shipping notes, and order it way in advance to hope I get my order on time, we will be all good in the future. But just in general the lack of communication and other things, quality to details in shipping make or break it for me. The quality of the cowtag I had ordered was not the issue at all. Besides how it was shipped, out of the package and seemed thrown in there (can happen because of shipping), but it was not secured in its packaging from Molly's themselves. But ordering from them was easy, it was a quick process, and pretty much an easy walk through to finding what I wanted and the pricing guides. read more

Awaiting a pin or screw that attaches the belt tip to the leather permanently so it won't fall off and get lost when you don't notice. Worst thing I've ever done. And the first belt they made and wanted to ship looked like a kid's high school project. Now they don't answer at all. My daughter is coming home for four days for Christmas. Ordered the first belt and buckle set back in early December 2024 and did not receive until Feb 2025. Horrible communication and misleading info in emails (lies, really) throughout this first ordeal. Over 60 days to receive. A manager named Evert called me after this debacle and offered me a free belt as a way of apologizing. I decided to give them another shot as I understand things happen especially during holiday season. Evert told me to let him know if any issues arise on this order. Placed a second order 3/16/25 (non holiday season) and as of today, still haven't received and still not even completed yet. 70 days and counting. This order has become worse than the first. After 55 days had passed, I left 2 messages on 2 separate days with a worker at the store for Evert to call me. No return call. Finally spoke to him on day 60 bc he got caught answering the phone. He said he would immediately check on this and call me back. He never did. Their website clearly states shipping time between 40-50 days. I've been dealing with this company for 9 months and if I could give it 0 stars I would. The customer service is abysmal at best. Long and short of it, I ordered buckles after confirming I could cancel within a week and being told 4 times yes you can do that. Called a week later saying I needed to cancel and got the nope can't do that we've already got them in the art department, after being told by the same individual a week prior it takes a few weeks before production.. For the next 3 months I got the run around after putting a hold on the order till we got something figured out, till around August I was told someone would be getting the manager involved. September the same person called to ask me if I'd like to proceed with my order, after mentioning the situation they said oh yes sorry, we're working on it. Didn't hear a word about it after that.. Finally this year I found someone who would buy off some buckles from me and what not. They were able to completely REDO the entire buckle, color, text etc etc, which tells me they never started them to begin with. After getting some artwork sent back to me I noticed a charge so I called and was making sure I wasn't about to get charged again. They said no no, because you're only getting 5 buckles on this order and don't need the 17 we will issue a refund. I said holy smokes how hard was that to do. Then four hours later they email me after hours saying nope that's false we can't do that. It's been a nonstop hassle with these folks and I cannot recommend them with any good faith to anyone. I am floored about the negative reviews on here. I ordered a custom belt buckle and it turned out phenomenal. There were two incidents where I had to reach out to customer service because the website stopped working for a little while (they were updating the website for a Black Friday sale) and when I recieved the buckle they forgot to send the wood case I also purchased. They sent it out 2-day express which was clutch. From quality and selection, to customer service, I am 100% satisfied and will be coming back. read more

The buckle itself is gorgeous and very well constructed, and exactly as I customized it, would definitely buy another. But as far as service goes, it depends. I firstly emailed with questions, and it was never responded to, so I called and the person I spoke to on the phone was very vague and not what I would describe as helpful. He was almost agitated that I had questions, and didn't answer them at all. So as a last resort I went to TikTok, the person who I assume runs the account was extremely helpful and friendly, and finally answered the questions I had. so like I said the service depends on who you speak to, unless the guy was just having a bad day, we all do, but wasn't exactly a great first impression with the company. I had been putting together an outfit for one of my business personas, "The Funslinger," a character who tells everyone how much fun driving an electric vehicle is. I needed one last item, a rodeo-style belt buckle. A quick Google search found Molly's Custom Silver. What a great site they have! It has many styles of buckles and you can customize them for your specific needs. So many styles were shown that it took me a while to select one from many great choices. Customization was VERY easy and I submitted my buckle design on February 8th, hoping I could get it in time for an upcoming appearance on March 11th. The site states that "it takes up to 30 to 60 days for each buckle," and my event was just 31 days away. My buckle arrived exactly 28 days from order placement. The website kept me apprised of my project's progress, every step of the way, so I didn't need to keep calling and checking on status. I did call one time to see if they thought I could possibly receive it by the date of my event. They couldn't guarantee it, but the very courteous gentleman I spoke with said there was a small possibility and that he'd see if he could do anything to make sure it progressed quickly. When it arrived, it was in a nice presentation box and looked BEAUTIFUL! There is a wide range of prices, but I started on the "Specials" page and worked from there. I ended up selecting the "Placerville" buckle, which I felt was pretty affordable. However, after it arrived, I almost felt like I had taken advantage of Molly's! The quality and polish was outstanding. FYI: The default size of 4-1/2" X 3-1/2" is perfect for me. I'm 5'6" tall and it isn't too large or small for my frame. I was concerned that it might dig into my stomach when I sat down, but it doesn't. Very quickly, it feels just like any other buckle, but it looks way better. Because I was unsure what I wanted, I had to make several calls for help, and each time I called the person who helped was patient and gave good advice. Emailed, called many times, And as another review mentioned very robotic they get very rude as if it's our fault that they're making promises they can't keep and this is simply for one buckle. Ordered buckles in Feb for an event at the end of May. Called 2 Weeks before the event and a week before was told the guy would watch my account make sure they would be here on time. Called 2 days before my event, was told the buckle cups were bad they had to ship them back and they're waiting on new ones.... (why wasn't I told this 2 weeks ago) spoke to a manager who said he'd call when they shipped and they would ship on Thursday. Never got a call and they didn't ship until Friday. Got them on sat 4 days late from when I needed them. Poor poor communication. Beyond frustrated and disappointed in this company! I ordered a belt buckle for my daughter's graduation on April 19, website states 30-60 day turnaround time, ok great, it'll be here in enough time. I thought wrong! Checking order status daily and it didn't move for over a month. I emailed in May to check on the status and was told "it takes time and will be completed soon" emailed again beginning of June as now I'm starting to freak out a little bit with her graduation party coming up on June 18 and her gift hadn't arrived, I was then told "it will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, but if I notified them of the date of her party they could put a note on my order and hopefully complete". Two weeks later on June 17 I reach out again and was told they never told me 2 weeks, but would send me a picture of her buckle that I could print out and frame to give her at her party-WHICH THEY NEVER SENT!!! I had to have a conversation with my daughter and apologize to her that her present from me would not be here in time even though I ordered it in April. Now here it is June 21 more than 60 days after the artwork was approved and the order on the website still isn't finalized. I will definitely NOT be recommending anyone to order from this company at this point. My last email to them on Friday June 17 has still been unanswered. It's not everyday your kid graduates school and is recruited by a college for equestrian team and you want to honor that with a belt buckle they can wear while competing nationally. Extreme unprofessional treatment by the owner (Randy) on my recent order. I have been a customer of Molly's for 6 years. I only produce 2 shows a year but I have been pretty loyal to Molly's over the years and in fairness to them they have done a good job for me up until now. I don't usually write reviews but this recent experience has not only prompted my low rating but I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I placed an order for my Championship Show sometime in late March. I paid for it when the artwork was completed on April 2nd, our show was scheduled for May 22-23 and I requested delivery May 19th. This timeframe (about 6 weeks) is the same that I have given them for all orders in the past. Their website states buckles will be completed between 30 and 60 days. I was told there would be no issue with on time delivery at the time I placed the order. On Tuesday, May 18th I followed up to confirm that my order would be received on May 19 and I was calling to request a tracking number. I was told my order was still in production and could not be completed on time. I let them know that it was not acceptable to me to miss my date. I was never informed that there were any issues with my order nor was I ever told that my deadline could not be made. I was referred to Jesus who informed me that orders now take 75 days - that is almost 11 weeks! I was never informed of that at the time I placed my order and their website still states 30 to 75 days. My buckles were a standard design with no custom changes. I was clearly unhappy to be informed of this one day before my order was expected. Jesus offered to mail my buckles to my winners. I let him know that would not work for us. If my buckles did not arrive it was my intent to give a cash award and I would be requesting a refund from Molly's. Jesus asked me what my absolute last day to receive my buckles would be and I told him Sat May 22. He said he could rush the order and ship them overnight on Friday to arrive Sat. I agreed with this and I let him know again that a miss would not be acceptable to me. I never received a call on Friday with a tracking number. I had no further contact with Mollys. My buckles did not arrive as promised on Sat. The following Monday I contacted Mollys to learn that my buckles had not been finished or shipped as promised. I asked to speak to Jesus and requested a refund as was our agreement. He let me know he would look into it and would call me back. Instead of getting a call back from Jesus, I got a call from the owner Randy. He was quite rude. He refused to give us a refund and refused to even let me talk, he talked over the top of me to tell me that the buckles had been mailed on the 19th as agreed (his own employees stated otherwise). He also told me that he had gone so far as to pull up my facebook account and could see that I had another show scheduled in the fall and I could use the buckles then. What does this mean? If I was a new customer and only had one show I would have gotten a refund? Not repeat customers who should have been treated as a bit of a higher priority? I have an image of the state of Oklahoma on my buckles as this was a State Championship. My next show is a Regional Championship - however that is really not any of Molly's concern. Molly's is a deadline oriented business and my use or lack thereof or my future ability to use the buckles or lack thereof does not change the fact that they missed every deadline they promised without calling to inform me at any time. I was treated rudely and lied to by the owner who told me the buckles were shipped on the 19th when in fact they were actually shipped on the 25th and received today the 27th. I received a refund through my credit card company and I will not be using Molly's again in the future. read more

The belt buckle I received from Molly's was the most beautiful buckle I have ever seen. The craftsmanship is extraordinary, but that is not the most impressive part. I needed this buckle ON THE FLY for a 90 year old friend's birthday party. They got it done and now I'll be a customer for life. BTW, the buckle I ordered was 100% sterling. WOW! I can't begin to express how impressed I am with this company. I found them by "accident" and am beyond blessed that I did! I did a custom buckle just for our company and was a little apprehensive creating this online. They were really great with communicating with me, sending me a proof and getting it shipped in the time frame they had estimated. I will without a doubt be getting more buckles from them. (I am a small private ranch owner and they treated me like I bought 50 buckles; not just one). I will wear this buckle with pride.
