Must visit Molly Tea location since there's almost little to no wait, extremely large dining area, and quality just as good as any other locations!! I come from the bay area and theres always a wait and shop is small/crowded. Drink is excellent since you can actually taste the quality of the tea. I love their jasmine matcha milk tea. Very cute place located in such a fun area! Molly Tea looks very clean, nice and spacious seating with comfy chairs to hangout. The menu had a wide variety of teas, matcha, boba, and refreshers. My boba was really good, nothing out of this world. The brown sugar boba was super soft and delicious! Would recommend trying one of their more specialty recommended drink options! read more

I stopped by for a quick drink. They were pretty packed at first but the line seemed to go by fast. After I placed my order, it was a very short wait. The decor and ambiance was more an upscale boba/tea shop. Everyone was nice and courteous, the stand out was a young male, with glasses. He provided exceptional customer service and had a great attitude about everything. Overall, I would come back again! read more

New tea place in Chinatown. The space is thoughtfully designed and has a really nice natural light. I think it's a lot more plans. It would really make it pop. It was a little over 90° so I opted for something frozen like the mango tea. It was frozen with pieces of jelly, coconut milk, and possibly rice. Wow, what a great addition to Chinatown! They offer a variety of classic milk teas and fun seasonal options. I've had their pistachio drink with boba, and their peach oolong drink. Both were so delicious! You are able to adjust the sweetness anyhow much ice you want for each drink. I always opt for whatever is already suggested and it works great for me. The pistachio flavor is slight salty and pairs so well with the milk. The peach flavor in the tea drink is subtle but refreshing. The interior is beautiful and open with plenty of seating and wall to wall windows. Service is quick and I loved the bag with the cup holder. Very practice and not thin where I thought the drinks would fall right through. read more

You can customize your drinks with ice and sugar levels and also choose your milk type. You can order at the kiosk and once you do, you'll get a number and a text with your receipt. Watch your number on the board move from "In progress " to "Ready" to know when to pick up. When you pick up your drink, you can get a token for a chance to play the claw machine and win various prizes. So fun! I ordered the jasmine milk tea and it was really good. I heard a lot about Molly Tea from other cities had to drop by. With so many tea shops popping up the big hitters from China are really finally here. Walking in this is a self service style location. Very intuitive system so no worries. We ordered the Jasmine Snowy and milk tea. Both were very rich in flavor and didn't have the over the top sweetness. By default they recommend 70%. This is a busy strip mall and parking will be right especially during the weekend! read more

The service here was super disorganized. Everyone was busy doing their own thing and nobody was paying attention to the register. I stood there for like 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I ordered my drink half sugar and light ice, but after I got in the car, I realized they gave me regular ice. By the time I finished drinking, there was still half a cup of ice left. I paid $8 for basically half a drink and half a cup of ice. Drinks must have huge profit margins these days if places can get away with this. The mango coconut drink was pretty average too, and the matcha drinks were just bitter. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up -- I'd honestly skip this place. Definitely not coming back. read more

One of my new favorite spots. I would recommend if you like the taste of tea. The drinks are very fragrant and the tea is prominent. Quick service with almost no interaction with anyone. An updated tea place. The teas appear to authenticate Chinese teas. You order at a kiosk, receive an order number and watch monitor when your dink(s) are ready and your number is announced over a PA. They serve only different types of tea drinks. There are no pastries or other baked goods to enjoy with your drinks. There are casual seating but can get crowded during busy hours. Three words: worth the hype! I loved the ambiance, service was fast, and boba flavors were innovative and exciting. The only thing, it is a bit pricier than other places for a drink. I ordered the seasonal drink: Pistachio Bobba. I didn't realize it at the time that I ordered it but it's infused with cheese. The flavor palette is authentic and delicious. Noted of cheese blended perfectly with the pistachio. Don't be afraid of the cheese. Definitely will go back with friends and a couple crafting items. Quality freshly brewed tea with alternative milk options! I had a white champaca milk tea with oat milk and brown sugar boba. Perfection in a cup! I loved their sweet soft boba. The barista was so kind in answering all of my questions and even brought out samples of the crystal boba so we could see the difference. This place is in the China Town shopping mall on State Street. I tasted the Jasmine Milk Tea sampler and my son had the pistachio milk tea that is limited edition. You order on the kiosk and you can pick how you like it, it gives its recommended way to gave it-hot /cold, how much sugar, etc. The decoration is mostly pink with tan color furniture. We went within a month of opening and it was really good! They have a kiosk where you can order and easily customize your drink. They announce your order through a loud speaker which I appreciate because you can easily hear what order is ready. The drinks we got were delicious! The Jasmine was very floral and quite strong which I didn't except at first but overtime it grew on me. The matcha and milk are both super creamy and delicious! The boba is great as well! Tea was ok, speaking of flavor. Paid $8.40 for a medium size milk tea, the place has 2 self order stations. Im in town visiting from LA, looking for a good boba place. Even though there was at least 6 people behind the bar/counter area, no one will answer simple questions about the menu, since they don't do "face to face customer service" only self-service. They only make it, and have no information about the floor. According to one of the workers that place my drink on the pick up area. Came here for the soft opening! Super excited that Utah opened a Molly Tea, because coming from Cali I'm always searching for high quality tea in the area. The shop was very organized and enormous. We were presented with menus while waiting in line. I ordered the Pistachio BMT and Premium Jasmine Matcha MT. The pistachio was not super overpowering and complimented well with the drink. The drink comes with brown sugar boba as a topping, and although it's not out of this world, it's still sweet and good. Molly Tea is known for their jasmine tea quality, and you can def taste it in their drinks. The jasmine matcha is a combo of both flavors, making the perfect drink combo. I also ordered boba, which they added in a small up on the side. The line was fairly quick, and the wait time was EXTREMELY fast! (Got our drinks within 5 mins!!!) The workers are very friendly and work very quickly. This location is huge and has plenty of seating, that I think it'd be a good study spot, but it can get kind of loud depending on how busy it gets. Molly Tea is a newly opened tea place in SLC Chinatown. Since it's newly opened, it's very busy, but service is quick and efficient. There is a good amount of seating inside. I ordered a peach oolong tea with 70% sugar. I think next time I will get 100% sugar for a little more sweetness. I would recommend this place if you like tea. read more

The servers were nice to let us try the milk tea soft serve ice cream and chocolate soft serve but we ended up not getting ice cream because they didn't taste that great. Ambiance is typical for a cute boba shop.

I would recommend getting reduced sugar as it seems like this place runs pretty sweet. I got the 25% sugar on the fruit tea and could not imagine what 100% tastes like. They put a lot of fruit in it which is quite nice and the flavor of the tea is quite strong which I love but I wish it were even less sweet.
