She asked st the beginning of the appointment of I wanted a bleached root or shadow and I said Shadow works but that I was hesitant because I didn't want banding or striping. She responded by letting me know that that wouldn't happen. During the appointment she didn't speak to me which wasn't a problem. However, once she was taking the foils out I noticed the massive patches and banding in my hair. I pointed them out and she said they are supposed to be there and will fade over time. At this point I was quite upset and felt uncomfortable to say anything further. After I got home I noticed how horrible it truly was, was patchy and had complete stripes down my head which is unacceptable for an experienced stylist claiming to be a blonde specialist. I messaged the owner and let her know of the situation and that I'd like to ask for a refund. Her solution was to have the stylist who did my hair "fix it". Which I was not comfortable with for multiple reasons, she did not listen to my requests and passed it off when I pointed it out. The owner did not offer for herself to redo it or another stylist. She then offered a 25% refund, which wouldn't cover me having to get the job completely redone. I proceeded to post my experience on a local women's page to let them know not to visit the salon. Shortly after, I received a horrible message from the stylist threatening me and telling me it was my fault for not communicating further (which I did twice at my appointment), and gas lighting me saying "blonding is a process"  which I have been getting platinum blonde for about 10 years and never ever experienced this. There were multiple women from the salon who then made awful comments to people on my post about the experience saying things about women's children, and chastising them for being religious, which is SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE.  People make mistakes and it's how they correct them that matter, and in this scenario for a service industry- this is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't reccoment this place to anyone.

You ask me why they don't know what you want is because they're not any books in there so they can look at a picture of what you want it to look like. Although they seemed to be likable they really didn't care about you in general. I had my hair dyed and she kept saying it would be a minute to rinse it out after the appropriate time but she was like getting other things ready for an appointment for the next day and 5 minutes turned into 25 minutes or more. I was so upset about my hair that I was about to start crying after I had seen it. Then she tells this other guy who was working with her that she didn't know what to do with the horrible job she did and asked him to try and finish it up while she went out to get the dye done. I'm sorry but I should have said that if you don't have anything to look at all then I will go home. But I didn't want to hurt anyones feelings. But I'm telling you I wish I had never had my hair done by Lush Blow and Dry. They also say they do facials and other things but they don't!!!' The people who used to work there left them but they still say it on this site. No wonder that the other people left them, in my opinion they didn't know what they were doing. I'm now so upset with them that I don't want to give them any stars.
