We had a terrible experience with an Axiom salesman named Colin last week. He repeatedly knocked on…read moreour door for nearly 10 minutes, despite our 100-pound pit bull barking nonstop. It was obvious someone was home and that the dog was distressed, but he just kept knocking and refused to give up/leave. When I finally answered, he falsely claimed he had just treated our neighbors' yard and that they told him to come do ours too & he acted like he was about to spray wither I liked it or not. None of that was true- We all use a different pest control company. I told him he was waking my baby because he had upset the dog and asked him to leave my property. Instead of leaving, he continued trying to sell me his service as I was literally closing the door. He then came back later that same day and again that weekend. I believe he was riding a Onewheel or hoverboard. I understand door-to-door sales are part of the job, but refusing to take "no" for an answer, repeatedly returning to a home, and using dishonest sales tactics is completely unacceptable. As a woman home alone a stranger knocking at my door repeatedly is SCARY in this day and age, especially one won't leave when asked after ignoring our no solicitor signs. I called Axiom and they said this was a non issue and I was overreacting. This experience ensured we will never consider using Axiom's services & will certainly be telling my friends and neighbors to do the same.

We currently have a one year plan with Orkin for roach and mosquito control at our house. We knew…read morewe were in for a pest battle because our house is next to a city water runoff, so we called in the experts. While we still see the *occasional* roach after 11 months of our year contract, we feel much more protected with monthly sprays and consistent check ins. (I did have to reach out once during winter when there was a month gap between visits, but they immediately came out after my inquiry and have been consistent ever since.) The service is relatively pricey (roughly $1,000 for the initial visit, and then monthly charges of $100), but I believe it has been worth it to know that we are not infested. I will gladly take 1-2 roach sightings a month over 30-90. Our representative, Joseph S., is always on-time, kind, willing to answer our questions, and happy to talk about pets. We are grateful that we have been able to see the same person each visit, and he always does a wonderful job.

Also they have a very high employee turnover rate. Initially they told me my home was going to be a catalog home, pictures to be put in their sales catalog, instead it was a training house. I had 15 cars show up with people that have never done this before. They did an encapsulation of my crawl space. When they left the job looked like a bunch of kids did it, which in fact it was. Rips and tears, different color plastic on the pillars, junk left under home after I asked them to remove anything under there. Oh the best part was heating ducts knocked off. Now to what they "Do Best" pest control. Six months or more in to service I still had bugs so I bought 6 pest control devices online and my problem was gone. I was not sure if the devices actually fixed my problem so I was going to keep the monthly service after returning from my trip but they said they don't work that way and I would have to start a new plan which includes a high initial payment. Guess what still no bugs after 8 months. The devices work great. Find another company, this one is not worth it.
