I just do not feel they go that extra mile for thier customers, i do not come out feeling pampered as i do with the salon i now go to. i had used scalliwags for years when i was younger as they did have a good reputation etc, but i feel over the last few years they are becomming one of those salons that you consider to be rather old fashioned. I think if they gave a bit more, in customer care, even promoting thier buisness in the community more as do the other salons, then they may get more of thier old clientelle come back.

You are greeted by a friendly receptionist who will seat you and get you a drink. (They ve really nice coffee & a biscuit). If you are having your hair washed, make the most of the relaxing experince and opt to use the massage chair - they have different settings for a full back massage/neck massage/and shiatsu massage. I have had a few different stylists here and they have all been really good and I have always been pleased with the cut and style. They sell GHD products and have won lots of awards from GHD. Keri Anns is a great shop to visit for cut price cosmetics, perfume, hair accessories etc…read more It is located at the back of Britannia Centre next to Diamonds and Pearls shop. It is packed full of cosmetics from makes such as maybelline, Pout, Estee lauder all at largely reduced prices. The perfume that they sell is also cheaper than shops like Boots (there is a perfume that I but that would cost me around £20 is only £9.99 in Keri Anns) so it is definately worth a vist. The staff are friendly and helpful enough although sometimes they feel a little unapprocahable but the low-cost Clarins products makes up for this. Keri Anns is a great independant shop in a town where more retail outlets are much needed.

Arrived and…read morethey were very friendly, drink if you wanted one etc. It said I had a 15 minute window when I booked, so I wasn't expecting much. But the barber made sure that he knew exactly want I wanted and did the perfect shaping. He also used several lotions and potions during the trim to make it more pleasant. Only when I paid and left I realised I had been in there for a good 45 minutes. Not sure if that was the standard time or if he just went over as there was no one else booked in after.
