All of that for $15! The center is located in a plaza that's not too far from Frank Ski's Lounge. I mention that particular landmark, since an employee gave it to me as a reference when setting my appointment. Upon entering, no one said anything. A new trainee handed me a clipboard with the normal "paperwork" that all these clinics and salons or whatever random company must keep on file nowadays. The wait was about 20-30 minutes. I was seen by the doctor's assistant, who talked with me about goals, current diet, and how I can improve. I'd already lost a couple stubborn lbs. on my own, I just wanted the cheat pills. Hehe. Instead of me returning for 3 more weeks of B-12 injections, I opted for 1 Lipotonic shot. Umm... They give it to you in your bum cheek, so be ready. Not painful for me at all. The assistant tells me that they will mail the appetite suppressants to my house. Huh? Who does that? Just give em to me while I'm here. The sales lady comes in, flies through a bunch of stuff I already knew, then she was out the door. She left the suppressants and vitamins with me. Good. Finally, the doctor comes in. He's an older guy with a potbelly and a little extra weight on him... He acknowledged this immediately & pointed out the irony in him running a weight loss clinic but being a bigger guy himself. He reiterated everything the assistant said about my current diet habits and exercise. Aaand, that was about it. The pills aren't as effective as the type I had before at a different clinic. They don't totally get rid of my appetite like the others did. Nonetheless, I've managed to drop a few pounds through sheer willpower. This was an ok experience. I'd recommend this place with a deal only, however.

He doesn't waste time and gets straight to the point! I liked him and recommended my Dad whose in his early 70's. He also likes him and that is good coming from a seasoned generation set in their ways! I recommend Dr. Chappelle without hesitation. Not sure if he's related to the comedian or not, but he has a funny bone. Go see him for all your dermatological needs.

I woke up from the surgery in discomfort, but no real pain. Mind you, I have a high tolerance for pain, but you'll also be given a nerve block that lasts 72 hours--pretty sure it lasted longer for me. I'm going to be completely honest and tell you that I was regretting my life choices for the first few weeks after surgery because I was so miserable with swelling--not pain, swelling. Swell hell is real, and you will definitely deal with it after lipo. Also, sleeping upright was a nightmare because I could never get comfortable, plus, I was waking up with a headache every morning, but I attribute that to poor neck alignment. Once I got over these humps, it wasn't smooth sailing, but it was better. Once I was more mobile and able to do more things for myself, healing really progressed. I'm now six weeks post op, and I'm about 85% better. And while I'm still swollen, I am snatched, honey! My waist wasn't this small before I had children! Unfortunately, my experience was far from professional or patient centered. Upon arrival, I was immediately taken on a 20-minute unsolicited tour of the entire clinic by a staff member who spent the entire time preaching about the practice's positive reviews--it felt like a high-pressure sales pitch rather than a medical consultation. I did not request or need this tour. After the tour, I was placed in a waiting room before being taken for before photos of my lips, even though no procedure was agreed upon or performed. I then waited another 10 minutes before Dr. Lee entered the room. The consultation itself lasted only 10 minutes, during which Dr. Lee mentioned that he was unsure whether he would have images to share of his surgical lip lift work due to not having patient's consent. I understand, but ultimately this is a red flag for transparency. It should have been communicated by the office prior to paying the consultation fee that he had no images of previous work regarding this surgery that he could share. He also expressed concerns about scarring on someone as young as me (24) and stated that he doesn't rush into surgery, which left me confused about the purpose of the consultation in the first place. At the end of the visit, a woman at the front desk provided me with an estimate of over $3,000 for the procedure. Despite this, there was no follow-up from the office regarding images, next steps, or scheduling. Instead, I received seven emails asking me to leave a review--an obvious attempt to manipulate ratings rather than address patient concerns. When I called two weeks later to request a refund for the $150 consultation fee, the staff member argued with me about the amount of time I spent in the office, including the unnecessary tour and photo session. This behavior was unprofessional and dismissive. She noted that consultation fees are non-refundable. The entire experience left me with a very negative impression. The lack of transparency, the aggressive sales tactics, and the complete disregard for follow-up care make me question the integrity of this practice. Do not waste your time or money here.

When she did my ultrasound at my first appointment I was so amazed at all of the venous insufficiency I had. It's crazy to see what lies under the surface that you don't see. What I also loved is that you don't have to wait for a second appointment, Dr. Aleman comes right in and explains things to you after your ultrasound. What can I say about Dr. Aleman? He is AMAZING! Not only are his surgical skills absolutely pro, but his bedside manner is just so awesome! You usually have to sacrifice one or the other in great surgeons, but not this one! He is the most personable doctor. He comes in with almost a sing-song hello to greet you, and not only does he explain what he is doing, but he will just talk with you! My favorite topic is family trips to Disney! He is so interesting and it makes the procedure go by so fast and you don't notice the pokes and uncomfortable parts so much. After about a week with the right leg, I started to notice how heavy the left one was feeling and how much better the right one was. I knew I needed to get in to get the other one done. I attached a picture of my second leg, second day procedure. Minimal pain, heals very nicely, and if you have any worries, Dr. Aleman always tells me to call him with any concerns after every procedure!
