I met Brendan years ago when he was walking my roommates dog every day. After daily trips out with Brendan, the pooch began to develop better manners and eventually started following some basic commands from people. If you knew this guy, you'd know that was massive development! A few years later, I adopted an amazingly energetic boy named Dexter. Dex was already well behaved but has boundless energy that really needed an outlet while we are away at work. Since my roommate had such great luck with Brendan, I decided to give him a call. Its been two years since we started working with Brendan and I couldn't be happier! Brendan has a key to our house and takes Dex out several times a week to go on doggie excursions and knock out some of that energy. Every day when we get home, we can tell Dex has enjoyed a solid workout. What's better is that Brendan is happy to board Dex at his home anytime we have to leave town. We often joke that Dex would prefer to live with Brendan, as he is always thrilled to see him. Sometimes he boards him for a night, other times it can be weeks. No matter how long we're gone, we know he's in good hands and he is always happy to accommodate our schedules to ensure Dex is taken care of. John has a lot of experience in dog walking and dog training; Taro starts to out with John when he was around five months, at the beginning John will attach a leash with Taro and let Taro be familiar with the pack and environment first. That shows me, John cares about the dog, and he knows about dogs. When the dogs are released on the field, besides the dog's party, John will work with your dog some skills like recall, basic obedience or more! John also provided feedback on how our dog is doing so we can put more attention on the behavior. Other than that, he is happy to inform us some training class or other information that we need. John is super flexible, sometimes I need Taro get home earlier, and he can always make it, no matter rain or shine! He also posts daily activity picture on Facebook and Instagram, so I can get Taro's daily picture, and know he is doing well when Taro out with John. Also, John takes good picture! He captures those cool and wonderful moments that make me happy and laugh! Taro also had boarded with John, and John provides a clean and big environment for him, including the daily walk. Each time he comes home happy and tired, and John can provide pictures if you need it. I trust John, so I have no worries when Taro with him. Just cross finger that Taro doesn't brother John and his dog- Mayday that much! Hahaha! We trust ABC Dogs and John. I have two high energy pit mixes whose leash reactivity had gotten worse in the past half year, and it had reached a point where it was unmanageable because they would start barking and lunging at other dogs even from a healthy distance. I met with a few trainers to get a sense of their methods and styles, and Ceslie felt like the best match because of how she took the extra time to know my dogs and understand their behavior before recommending a plan, compared to others who jumped into training without asking many questions. There was a noticeable difference in how my dogs responded to Ceslie after their first class.
