I am extremely disappointed in Extreme Training Equipment's response to what was an unacceptable…read moredelivery experience. We paid ETE nearly $500 for shipping. ETE hired the company that would deliver our equipment. We scheduled a noon-2:00 delivery, confirmed it with the delivery company the day before, and took time off work to be home. The morning of delivery, the driver called and asked if we had a forklift. No, we do not own a forklift. He said he would "figure it out." Our delivery window came and went. No delivery. No phone call. Nothing. We finally called after 3:00 and were told the driver had NEVER TAKEN OUR EQUIPMENT FROM THE DEPOT. After working with ETE, delivery was rescheduled for the following day. We rearranged our schedules AGAIN to be home. The next day, they AGAIN failed to load our equipment for delivery. ETE eventually arranged what they called a "rescue delivery." When it finally arrived, they could not get the crated equipment off the truck. Thankfully, we had friends at our home who had planned to help us assemble the equipment. Instead, we spent approximately an hour in the Florida heat and humidity helping unload our own equipment from the delivery truck. So we paid ETE nearly $500 for delivery, took time off work for a confirmed delivery that never left the depot, rearranged our schedules a second day only to have it happen again, and then ultimately provided the labor to help unload our own $500 delivery. Things go wrong. I understand that. What has earned ETE this review is how they responded afterward. ETE's position is essentially that these problems were the fault of the shipping company and that ETE is "at the mercy" of that company and in the same boat as we are. No, we are not in the same boat. I did not select the shipping company. I did not hire the shipping company. I did not pay the shipping company. I paid ETE approximately $500 for delivery. The shipping company is ETE's vendor, not mine. Even more concerning, during this ordeal I was told that delivery is "always a hassle" and that the company being used did not have the necessary lift equipment to properly unload this equipment. That certainly made this experience feel less like an unforeseeable problem. We did not ask ETE to reimburse some or all of our cost for shipping to help offset wages lost. We simply asked them to acknowledge what happened and provide some reasonable customer-care compensation for a delivery service that clearly did not go as promised. They refused. That is the most disappointing part of this entire experience. I can understand a bad delivery. I have a much harder time understanding a company accepting nearly $500 from a customer for delivery and then taking the position that it bears no responsibility for the customer experience because the company it chose to perform the service failed. ETE may not have been driving the truck, but ETE sold us the delivery. Customer service is not demonstrated when everything goes perfectly. It is demonstrated by what a company does when something goes wrong. In our experience, ETE had an opportunity to acknowledge a significant failure and make a reasonable gesture to a customer. They chose not to.

Title: No Customer Service, No Shoes, No Respect - Stay the Hell Away…read more I ordered a pair of boxing shoes from Fight2Finish over a month ago, and guess what? Still no shoes. No updates. No communication. Not a damn thing. I emailed them multiple times--got nothing back. I called them on several occasions--not one call answered. No voicemail, no follow-up, no tracking number. Just radio silence. They straight-up ghosted me like a shady ex, and the only reason I got ANY kind of help is because I filed a dispute with Affirm. And guess what? Affirm had my back--I finally got my money refunded. Not a single word from Fight2Finish the entire time. Zero customer service. Zero professionalism. Zero effort. This wasn't just bad business... it was no business. They literally pulled a no-call, no-show on a paying customer. I don't care how dope their gear looks--what's the point if they don't deliver it, don't respond, and don't give a damn once they've got your money? Avoid this place like ringworm at a jiu-jitsu gym. I'll never spend another dollar here, and if you've got sense, you won't either. The whole time all I really wanted was some type of Accountability and Reciprocity. Because, hey, I did actually spend my money. I'm wondering if they were doing the whole: Bye from us and we'll go to the official website for you and have them send it to your house type of situation. I mention this because I went to the website and the product that I ordered was out of stock on there. Who knows? But listen, if they would have told me that the item was out of stock, or whatever the case was, then I wouldn't even be writing this Review.

Absolutely five stars, and then some…read more Jacob at Johnson Fitness and Wellness delivered one of the best retail experiences my wife and I have ever had!! From the moment we walked in, there was zero pressure and a 100% focus on helping us make the right decision for our fitness levels, goals, and lifestyle. We came in, intending to just test the Peloton Tread and Tread Plus. He let us run on multiple treads for nearly two hours, including the two Peloton models we were interested in, as well as a Woodway and a Landice. As marathoners and OTF competitive runners, this level of testing was critical for the $3k-$6k purchase. Jacob understood that immediately. He encouraged us to push the machines, testing speeds 12+MPH, dialing in interval acceleration and deceleration, and really feeling the differences in foot strike, responsiveness, and overall ride quality. He didn't rush us or, even worse, hover around us. Jacob provided genuine support and deep product knowledge. Once we settled on the Tread Plus, Jacob went above and beyond by introducing us to the Tonal 2 home gym, which will absolutely be our next purchase. He was incredibly enthusiastic, walked us through the system, and let us try multiple workouts so we could really understand the experience. And as if that wasn't enough, while he was checking us out, Jacob had my wife and me relax in two of their high-end massage chairs. That moment perfectly summed up the experience. Thoughtful, generous, customer-first. Jacob is exceptionally knowledgeable about his equipment, passionate about fitness, and genuinely invested in helping customers find what's right for them. No sales pressure, just outstanding service from start to finish. If you're even considering fitness equipment, do yourself a favor and work with Jacob. We absolutely will again.

This store and the people they hire are scammers!!!…read more I spent over $2K on a recumbent bike last week that was supposed to be brand new. On the very first day it arrived, it started mysteriously auto-pausing after just 5 seconds of use. To make things worse, the installer apparently had no idea how to properly test it before leaving. I had to go back to the store myself and explain the issue. The store then had to contact the installer and only got back to me several days later. When the installer finally returned, he told me the motor was defective and that a replacement would need to be ordered, which could take weeks to arrive. Can you believe that? This was sold to me as brand-new equipment and cost thousands of dollars. I trusted this store and even threw away my couch to make room for this machine. I deeply regret that decision now. This store, and the people they hire, seem to have no idea what they are selling.
