Hookups worked as expected. The main pro for us is the convenience of a place to stop for the night to break up a long drive with the RV. Cons: The property is in need of some basic maintenance. There are ruts in the driveways between sites making it inconvenient when towing a trailer/RV (It's somewhat understandable since the soil is sandy and taking the climate into consideration). There are some overgrown trees that hang that need to be trimmed so they don't hit the top of RVs, it can take some careful maneuvering to avoid them. Overall this KOA is a convenient, quiet and friendly place to stay overnight which are big factors that we appreciate.

We were assigned a pull-through site with an unusual layout. What appeared to be the continuation…read moreof the site was actually a campground road crossing in front of it. The road surface was nearly identical to the site surface, and because the road approached at a sharp angle, it wasn't obvious while pulling in that it was a roadway rather than part of the site. Combined with the site boundaries and the location of the utilities, the layout was confusing. We parked, leveled, put out the slides, and connected all utilities. About 20 minutes later, staff informed us that we were partially blocking the road and had to move. That meant disconnecting everything, retracting the slides and jacks, repositioning the motorhome, and setting up all over again. What was most disappointing was the way the office handled it. I wasn't looking for compensation--I simply suggested that this particular site could benefit from better guidance and explained that having to completely tear down and reset after being fully set up was a significant inconvenience. Instead, I was told I was the only guest who had ever made this mistake, that the site needed no additional explanation, that the situation was entirely my fault, and that no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience was warranted. I've RV'd for many years and stayed in many campgrounds, and this is the first time I've encountered a site where the roadway and site boundaries were this difficult to distinguish. A courteous acknowledgment of the inconvenience and a willingness to consider that this site's layout may be confusing would have left a much better impression.

Once you see a giant pink ice cream cone, you know you've arrived at the supercharger area. Charged here heading to Vegas and on the way back from Vegas to CA, both times were super quick, quite busy though but there were opening spots. -- Charger Stats -- Up to 150kW max $0.43/kWh - Congestion fees (up to) $0.50/min - 18 accessible superchargers, 2 of the 18 chargers are drive forward spots while the other 14 are reverse car into spot chargers. If you arrive here between 6 am to midnight times, you'll be able to enter EddieWorld to buy snacks and/or to use their restrooms (pretty clean). Chargers itself are 24/7 use. There's other chargers around 5-10 mile radius but this one seem the most popular and most clean. My wife and I were able to explore EddieWorld while the car was charging, easily spending 30 min to an hour here resting up.
