The AC unit made some weird sounds but we were tired enough we all fell asleep ok. They offer a complimentary breakfast which makes it super easy and quick with the kids. They had the usual offerings- fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee, eggs, sausage, croissant breakfast sandwiches, bagels, toast, pastries and waffles. Well we did that and went to the Grand Canyon. We then get texted that the dog is loud and that someone even called the cops. They even kicked us out. And then try to add charges on top of charges. Like I really want to do that expensive, dirty train again. I rather drive. So don't take a train unless your desperate. Asking over and over "What service does that dog provide you". She was in tears. He rudely told her to go get on. Then the guy that was supposed to help her get on wouldn't even help or look at us. These folks could use some training in compassion for the elderly. I'll never take her to that station again. I'll drive further and put her on where they may show respect for elders. They made me sick to my stomach how in humane they were.

Breakfast was standard, but the pool area was a major disappointment. It was poorly maintained--we actually saw a dirty bandage at the bottom, along with sediment from the pool floor, which appears to be eroding. Not surprisingly, we didn't see a single guest using it during our stay. It's a fine spot if you just need a quick place to sleep for one night, but for a longer stay, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. When the dishwasher started pouring water about 3 months after we moved in I had their maintenance person come out. His name is Curtis. He told me it was clear that there was "never any water here" and that if I wanted to me taken seriously I needed to provide video evidence. As if I was lying about the flood and actually wanted that rude man in my home. When they come to "fix" things the work is shoddy. The superintendents are rude and honestly, not very knowledgeable. Many of the things that were wrong in our house should have been easily seen by a seasoned super. We had broken cabinets that took months to fix because there's apparently only one cabinet guy they work with. And the cabinet company, warranty department and superintendent all played pretend like I hadn't told them the cabinets were broken. The warranty manager Lark doesn't like any conflict so you HAVE to stay on her to get things done. Their maintenance man Curtis is no longer welcome in my home. I've sent emails detailing this service and requested they be forwarded to a supervisor and no one from Angle has bothered to contact me. Just know, once you buy, you're on your own despite the promises they make! Oh and our AC unit is way too small for the house and can't keep up with the heat to maintain temperature and their warranty emergency guy Jeff said it's "totally normal and everyone says the same thing." It's really a big joke. I'd find a different builder if you can!
