Angle was great until we signed the dotted line of the mortgage docs. Then everything in our new house started to break. When the dishwasher started pouring water about 3 months after we moved in I had their maintenance person come out. His name is Curtis. He told me it was clear that there was "never any water here" and that if I wanted to me taken seriously I needed to provide video evidence. As if I was lying about the flood and actually wanted that rude man in my home. When they come to "fix" things the work is shoddy. The superintendents are rude and honestly, not very knowledgeable. Many of the things that were wrong in our house should have been easily seen by a seasoned super. We had broken cabinets that took months to fix because there's apparently only one cabinet guy they work with. And the cabinet company, warranty department and superintendent all played pretend like I hadn't told them the cabinets were broken. The warranty manager Lark doesn't like any conflict so you HAVE to stay on her to get things done. Their maintenance man Curtis is no longer welcome in my home. I've sent emails detailing this service and requested they be forwarded to a supervisor and no one from Angle has bothered to contact me. Just know, once you buy, you're on your own despite the promises they make! Oh and our AC unit is way too small for the house and can't keep up with the heat to maintain temperature and their warranty emergency guy Jeff said it's "totally normal and everyone says the same thing." It's really a big joke. I'd find a different builder if you can! read more

We looked at Angle Homes as they were building them in Kingman. My husband was a carpenter and couldn't believe that these homes could pass inspections with so many building errors. They looked like a child had put them together. We couldn't even find grade stamps on the lumber! read more

I own two Angle Built homes and have had problems with both of them. One home that is less than 4 years old has already had roofing problems, water leaks due to failing pipes and electrical problems where outlets were installed incorrectly along with windows that do not open correctly even after Angle supposedly repaired them. These problems should not occur in a new house. read more

Make sure to thoroughly read the purchase contract before you sign it. If you're not savvy with real estate contracts, have an attorney or someone knowledgeable review it for you because there are many reason you may not want to sign it. The contract gives them up to 2 years to finish construction even though the home is supposed to be completed in 4 months. Once you sign, you must submit your deposit which for us was $5k directly to them rather than to the escrow company. They're able to spend this money and aren't required to return it to you even if the seller "is unable or unwilling to perform under the terms of this agreement". So they can violate the terms of the contract and still keep your deposit. You also have no loan or appraisal contingencies so if they take 2 years to finish construction and rates go up or values go down and you're not able to purchase the home anymore, the buyer has no cancellation rights and will lose their deposit. This is not normal in a real estate contract. I'm a Realtor buying a vacation home for my family and as much as I love the house, the contract is too one sided and I'm not willing to give them a significant deposit that isn't refundable under almost any circumstances. I asked the sales agent if the contract could be modified but was told that none of these things were likely to happen and if I'm not comfortable signing that she understands. I don't think anyone would ever sign this contract unless they failed to read it or didn't understand what they were signing. As a Realtor, I would never advise a client to agree to these ridiculous terms. read more

These people are the worst! Really, I'm too angry right now to go into details about my experience with Angle. There are, however, several one-star reviews here that have had the same issues I had to deal with concerning Angle Homes. Many, many cosmetic issues as well as serious issues like my broken roof tiles! One thing I can give them credit for is their ability to dodge and duck out of responsibility for ANYTHING you may be having problems with. Horrible people! Beware! read more

Exposed wire and cracks in the stucco. There is a finish issues on a cabinet and the granite counter top is pitted. Several streaks of paint on the floor and the base of the baseboards. Unsealed grout on the tile. Poor chalking in some spots. The thermostat is at least 7 degrees off and several other minor issues. I am the 2nd owner but the first owner never really occupied the home due to health issues. The house is still under warranty. I started bringing up these issues up with Angle homes starting in 12/20. Their reply was either owner maintenance or industry standards. Beware when buying an Angle home. They dont seem to take pride in workmanship and wont fix the problems when they are discovered. read more

I have tried to be patient, but their quality of work, contractors used, customers service and standing behind warranty are below poor quality. Cracks in foundation, proof of drywallers sleeping in houses and drinking on the job, landscaping drip system has not worked since move in (sept 2021). Im told that its either within industry standards or its homeowner maintenance. The items I'm pointing out were items that WERE NOT originally completed by you or your subcontractors. Im not the only person in the neighborhood with these issues. Several of the neighbors have the same or similar issues As mentioned earlier, the original homeowner was under duress when she did the original walkthrough. Being a real estate sales person she would have seen them. As for your walkthrough, if you had a competent person doing it, they would have seen all the items that Im addressing. Per usual, Angle Homes is just passing the buck and not taking responsibility for there errors. After the rains, I developed a sink hole where my septic tank and leach lines are. Angles VP came and checked it out and did not want to accept responsibility. Additionally, Angle sent out their land grader and the septic installer. Both stated it was Angle's responsibility. Finally Angle agreed to send someone out to fix it. We will see how long that takes and what type of job they will do. Attached are just SOME of the issues because Google wont let me add any more. Angle homes DID NOT repair any of the above listed issues. Update. I have called Angle homes at least 2 more times since my last review. There are several more cracks in the stucco and some peeling of the stucco. The paint on bottom edges on my exterior door frames are blistering and peeling. Upon closer examination, they were not properly sealed so when exposed to moisture, water seeps into the wood. In the long run this will cause dry rot. Angle homes did not Angle sent someone out today. I have yet to hear back from them. I will edit this review once I do. Beware it you are thinking about buying an Angle home. read more

corner cutters. been living in my home built by angle for around 8 years, there are so many basic things this company cut corners on i can barely list them all here. from the rain gutter outlet being placed directly in front of the front door so the monsoon rains get dumped directly on you as you enter or exit the home- the windows are not properly installed in multiple rooms, just absolutely sliced the tip of my finger OFF from trying to weather proof these windows to stop the leaking. read more

Foreman was upfront and honest about running a business out of their homes, rather than lying about the CC&R's, as most developers do. While we didn't buy an Angel Home, we really appreciated the insight, which helped us focus on the decision we did make. read more

Well made home. The company is great to work with. I bought one of their homes from another owner. Went to their office and asked for the floor plans and was able to pick up a large set with no problems. They informed me the home was still under warrantee even though I was not the original buyer from them. Angle has built many homes in the Kingman area. I wouldn't judge them by the one horrible review, otherwise they wouldn't been able to build so many communities in Kingman. Great company who gives back to the communities. read more

My contractor, Sal Timula, did an excellent job. The pandemic was a huge challenge to him and the builders. There were material delays and an absence of competent labor. Timula worked hard to ameliorate those problems. Be careful if you can't visit the worksite and have to communicate virtually. Office staff do not seem happy and this likely impacts the quality of their work. Some office staff did an excellent job, others need a check list to ensure they communicate all relevant matters. For instance, I learned at the walk through that handles and knobs are not included in cabinet prices. Also, labor doesn't read changes to work orders, which makes it very difficult for a construction superintendent to keep to the agreed-upon changes. Labor basically entered my locked house to put up builder-grade mirrors that I had specifically declined to have installed. They had to be taken down and the wall repaired / refinished. A side gate was not installed and I learned this after the block wall was completed. The overall quality of the build is quite good and small details were attended to, like setting the clock on the stove. Who bothers to do that these days. Thanks of whomever set my clock. read more

They don't honor the warranty. So all the garbage construction goes is not corrected. Buyer beware!

Promise you the world to get you to sign and get your money, then nothing but problems broken promises and delays. My home is months overdue with no realistic timeframe work has basically stopped. Everything is on back order and simple things that were promised in a custom home they can't deliver on. Wish I never got involved with this company now I have to hire lawyers to get me out of this mess. read more
