VETERANS BEWARE!! I am a 100% disabled Veteran and moved to Kingman,Az from South Carolina. I went through Veterans United to buy my home. My assigned agent and home inspector told me the home had CENTRAL A/C. But didn't bother to tell me the central ac was only in HALF the house. Do to my disability I was not able to come and tour the home before buying. My agent did several walk through videos for me. As a buyer, I knew what the place looked like ect.. my agent and inspector were being paid to tell me about the build, land and all house working details. I wouldn't have noticed the vent issue in a walk through, I didn't realize until I turned on the ac the second day and the master bedroom/bathroom didn't cool down. We didn't even have a chance to negotiate price reduction with the seller, because we weren't told!!!
My lender was told it was on metered water, NOPE.. it is a shared well. (And it's a huge sh×t show, neighbors against neighbors/ Leins on homes/ fights over water amounts/bills) I believe the agent was fully aware of the issues because a lien had just been paid off for the property we were buying.
When I brought the non-ac to the agents attention she said, but the prior owner left you a portable ac until for that half of the house. What?! My wife called Justin Chambers who agreed to cover the cost of a mini-split ac. But the next day got a NASTY txt from Justin saying he would not pay it, that it's my fault, and that he was now refusing to speak to my wife because she didn't want her name on the title. SO MY WIFE WAS OK TO TALK TO WHEN YOU WERE SELLING ME SOMETHING, BUT NOW YOU HAVE MY MONEY, SO SHE ISNT GOOD ENOUGH TO SPEAK WITH!?
This guy is disrespectful, arrogant and a thief. Central ac means throughout the house. This is Arizona for God sake!!
He then blamed me for "not doing a walk through". Sir, I am disabled, I have a very hard time with my mobility. I paid your agent to be my eyes and ears. 249,000 for a house with partial ac and a small portable room unit. Smh. No Veteran should ever use your services. You took advantage of a vulnerable service member, hope your proud. read more
