These guys live up to their good reviews. I was hesitant on where to take my Chevy Equinox that was throwing a P219B code, but decided to give them a shot. The front desk Stephanie was very friendly and professional from beginning to end. The mechanic John gave me a diagnosis same day. Turns out the gas was bad, too much water. He offered to add fuel cleaner for $20 and didn't even charge the diagnostic fee. After he added the fuel cleaner, the check engine light was gone and I just have to burn through the bad fuel. When I went to pick up my car, he came out and gave me the run down and suggestions. I couldn't be happier with Mohave Auto Repair. Friendly, professional, and most importantly HONEST! Towed my truck to Mohave auto on April 2 2024 due to broken rear axle. They came highly recommended from a customer at Fedex where I work and had great reviews A week later I was called from Auto repair and told it would be about 3350.00 after all the discounts he could offer. ( Johns assistant) I had to go thru Insurance due to cost it went to 4000.00 no discounts after insurance was involved. 1k from me 3 k from insurance it would have a 12000.mile warranty and take about 10 days. I called about 2 weeks later to find out where my truck was at in the repair. I was called back the next day to tell me the wrong part was sent. Asked how much longer and they told me they didn't know it will show up when it gets there. Never heard another word until it was done on May 8 2024. Paid my 1k asked if it had other problems he said yes suspension issues and that was it no thanks for the business let me know if you have any issues. He said nothing. Fast forward to July 31 2024 rear axle broke exact same place took the hard brake line with it. I was able to get stopped and called Mohave at 330 never heard from them until late morning on the 1st to tell me it was out of warranty. I had driven 10k miles and the warranty was for 6 which was never said before. I told him that is not what we discussed and I believed he was lying to me. John told me he would contact the business he bought it from and see if they would do anything this was Aug 1. Never heard from him for 6 more days and was told he could do nothing it was just out of warranty at that point I called him a liar and told him I would get the truck that was at 2.40pm on Aug 7. My truck is my primary source of income and he knew I work for Fedex in Kingman AZ. I never would have spent that kind of money with such a lousy warranty when I drive over 125 miles everyday he knew that and said nothing when I repeated it to him. The truck was towed away from his shop on the morning of the 10th with a flat tire. read more

My youngest daughter was traveling by herself thru the Grand Canyon area and began hearing strange noises from her old Highlander. We found Jeff and Mohave online and were impressed by the reviews. Mohave and Jeff diagnosed the problem, a broken axle, no small problem. You can imagine my nervousness as I tracked all this from California. Jeff and his guys immediately went to work and repaired it on a Friday afternoon before the holiday. They charged 1/2 of what I would expect. This place goes above and beyond! We were on our way to Flagstaff when our truck starting sounding terrible. The first auto repair place we stopped at told us they closed at 5pm (it was a few minutes before 5pm) and told us they could help in the morning. Given we had hotel reservations in Flag and it was too late to cancel and get our money back we decided to search for another repair shop which led us to Mojave Auto Repair. Unfortunately, the hours on the door indicated they closed at 5pm so while we were sitting in their lot trying to figure out what to do, here comes Jeff. What a knowledgeable and efficient guy. He immediately assessed what the issue was, ordered the part and fixed it! All within an hour and a half and we were on our way after paying a very reasonable fee. Thank you so much Jeff!
