So he's prepared, he's thorough, and he's cost-conscious. Yet another arrow in his quiver is that he's exceptionally friendly and accessible. I was a long-time patient at this office and have watched firsthand the cliff this practice has jumped off. If you're searching for a reliable primary care doctor near Libertyville or Gurnee, avoid Dr. Peter Puthenveetil at Greenleaf Medical Associates. He no longer prioritizes patient care--just Ozempic, Botox, and the cash flow. The medical staff is robotic, unhelpful, and disengaged. Communication is nonexistent, with exception of a termination letter from their practice. There's no real support or follow-through. It's a disorganized, reactive office that leaves patients chasing basic care. There is no longer any partnership in your health here--just profits over people. Stay far away.

Wow this guy is a total scam artist! Stay far away! Expect to be charged 300% more for standard…read morebloodwork. Expect for him to not remember anything about you even though he sees you every other week for his "concierge service". Expect him to claim to provide a "concierge style" of service because I think he heard somewhere that it was a new way to charge clients more for the exact same service you can get anywhere else for free...it's called a doctor's visit. That's it...nothing special whatsoever about his level of service. Expect Paul Tack to charge you exponentially more for checking your heart rate and asking you the same standard questions. Expect him to gaslight you to ensure you NEVER try to do any topical or oral hormone replacements because he wants to ensure you are indebted to him forever for injections. Expect him to upsell you at every visit with add on services of vitamin injections or IV's. I went to Paul Tack because I was desperate and needed help with my hormones. I was in an extreme amount of leg pain and my level of fatigue was overwhelming. I am certain I was not in the right frame of mind when I signed the small print stating there was a 30 days notice of cancellation clause. So once you realize that he is charging your insurance company AND charging a concierge fee AND when none of the charges he submits to insurance are covered (b/c they are concierge services) then he continues to charge you for services for 1 more month. Additionally, when I was in the room and he could visibly see me getting angry, he suddenly says he hears a heart murmur! He has literally been checking my heart every other week for the past 6 months and SUDDENLY a heart murmur! I went straight to a friend who is a doctor to have him check my heart....rings clear with no murmur within the hour of me leaving Paul Tack's office. This man should be banned from his profession. He is a liar and a fraud. He also loves to respond to his negative reviews with rebuttals that sound "professional" and make the client sound wrong. I highly encourage you to pay attention to the angry clients because he will scam you and hide behind his professional rhetoric. His fees are hidden and fraudulent.
