Recently, I brough my elderly mother, who is permanently in a wheelchair, to see him as she has bone-on-bone knee pain that has gotten progressively worse over the past few years. Dr. Pham ended up doing a nerve block to help lessen the transmission of pain signals to the brain. While she will never be pain free, and will never be able to walk, doing this procedure is helping her balance realizing some pain relief while not having to undergo total knee replacement which she would never recover from. I appreciate Dr. Pham's conservative approach in providing treatment as opposed to recommending services and procedures that are not in the patient's best interest.

I made the mistake of being honest with women who makes his appointments and told her i was a very nervous person and i didn't want to have any procedures done in office unless the Dr Garner would ease my concerns and explain the procedure and if they were painful. The woman put me on hold and came back and said that Dr Garner didn't want to waste his valuable time and told me she wouldn't keep the appointment she made for me on 2-11-25. I told her that was unethical and maybe illegal and she put Dr Garner on the line. He reinstated the same comment his time was too valuable and it would be a waste of time. I told him maybe if he would comfort me by explaining what was going to happen then that might calm me down. He insisted that all the procedures were painful and simply refused my need to see a urologist. I even said given the choice to have pain or do nothing at all then i would bite the bullet and go through with the procedure but he said flat out NO! I specifically asked whether they take Florida Blue, and again was told to call my insurance company. The conversation felt dismissive and unhelpful, and the call was ended abruptly. I understand patients need to verify their benefits, but basic information such as whether the office is accepting new patients or participates with a major insurer should be communicated clearly and professionally. This treatment was successful and after a short adjustment period, it became easier to use. In May of 2025, Dr. Rajter prescribed Zepbound. Today, November 3rd, 2025, I've lost in excess of 40 lbs and feel terrific. My A1C level is normal, for the first time in over 20 years. Past other amenities like free valet parking, the people here show their care. At my first appointment, my husband and I parked in another part of the Holy Cross parking lot. We went into the building and found out we were clear across the campus. The person who told us this then got up from behind the desk, told her coworker she would be right back, and escorted us to the right building! We didn't ask her to take us, she was just doing what campus employees do - they go out of their way to make you feel good. My doctor, Dr. Christina Valdes, and her team are very friendly and professional. I had a health issue and I wanted a board-certified, dedicated physician and team of professionals. I got that. Not only are they warm and welcoming, they're constantly thinking about what they can do to enhance your experience. For example, I had an appointment last Friday and on Monday, I got a call to schedule a test - the test is in 2 days. Today is Tuesday and I got call to schedule another test. Isn't it great to wait days to have a test and get results than wait weeks? So, the restroom by the patient check-out has a Toto toilet with a heated seat - so make sure to "go" before you leave! Long after the smile of that experience wears off, I'm left feeling great that I selected Dr. Valdes and Holy Cross' Phil Smith Neuroscience Institute.

Her-idk the dr is not in this office now, shes in another office. She then proceeds to give me give me their office number to cb to reschedule (since she assumed i called the wrong office) but i read off the number that called me (& i called) WHICH IS THE CORRECT NUMBER. Issues happen but with no sympathy for the mix up. 3 girls at the desk and no one owned up to calling me less than 24 hrs prior. Customer service goes a long way.

Also performed some arm movements. With much explanation he administered a cortisone shot to my shoulder. AS of right now I am pain free and extremely grateful to Dr Wodicka. This Doctor is a credit to HOLY CROSS HOSPITAL. Professional, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. He has a smile on his face and one of the best bedside manners ever. Having been the victim of a botched surgical procedure in my youth, I'm really thorough about checking into who my surgeon is going to be and the facility in which the surgery is going to take place. After checking out everything I made an appointment with Dr.Ross Wodicka and couldn't have been more delighted. He's not only a great doctor but real good down to earth guy who carefully explains all your options and matters involving the procedure. Matter of fact, because of my age being 74, he wasn't cut happy and really wanted me to know what I was going to be put through in order to recover and whether I thought it would be worth it. Well, because I was unable to lift my martini glass to my lips (that's practically the definition of very serious), of course it was worth it. I might also add that Dr. Wodicka is a sports doctor specialist with a fellowship in a well-recognized sports orthopedic institute. So if one can trust the multimillion dollar shoulders and knees of professional athletes to him, I think I can trust mine to him too. Anyway my surgery went just fine. Matter of fact incredibly fine. I don't even have a surgical scar, never needed any pain meds and now near 8 months later 90% recovered and doing exceptionally well.

Dr. Fernandez is fantastic, down to earth, practical, "chill" (as my 15 year old said) and not once was his hand on the doorknob. I have a PhD myself and found him super smart, knowledgeable, an excellent practitioner, and with an amazing bedside manner that made both myself and my daughter feel at ease and respected. More importantly, I finally feel like we have a plan moving forward that will help her. FYI- It looks like Dr. Fernandez has fixed his phone and office problems that the previous reviewer noted.
