This is our usual Moe's, we went there for lunch today and it is so disappointing to see the quality, cleanliness, and freshness of the food degrade over time. The worst part of the visit was just how sloppy the prep area looks, particularly there is cheese and bits of food littered all around the prep area. The grill was dirty, yet they dropped onions and peppers on the dirty grill. I was particularly disturbed by the slimy wilted lettuce available. I love having a fresh crunch of lettuce in my burrito but I couldn't today because it looked like a rotten pile of slimy lettuce being offered as an option like if I was in some sort of poverty stricken third world country where that is acceptable. I mentioned to the server that I'd love to have lettuce but it looked so wilted and slimy but that didn't even phase her. She didn't care to maybe get some fresh lettuce or apologize for the lack thereof....awful, lazy, apathetic service that customers have to endure. I was not happy with the quality of the food and very disappointed that I couldn't have something as simple as fresh lettuce. I'm sure serving rotten produce is a food safety violation. This is one of the better Moe's locations! The staff was friendly and it was very clean. Great for when you need some quick nachos! As always, I love the Coca Cola Freestyle machine and create some pretty cool drinks like peach mellow yellow zero sugar. The homewrecker bowl is actually pretty good. I would never choose Moe's on my own, but sometimes I'm stuck ordering at a place where my husband is going or cook. I'm not going to cook. I perused the menu and saw the homewrecker bowl. The bowl SHOULD come with guacamole, rice, beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and a choice of meat. My husband said they kept asking him what he wanted instead of just putting on the kitchen sink (although I do question my husband's ability to order my food so take this with a grain of salt). He came back with NO guacamole and NO sour cream. He said they were out of guacamole and the sour cream just wasn't included and he didn't know enough about what was supposed to be in it to ask for it. If you're going to deprive me of guacamole, please take $1 off my bill (chipotle has taught me that guacamole costs extra). Even without the sour cream and guacamole, the bowl tasted pretty good. I just expect that if it's called a homewrecker, it should be loaded with topping. This seemed like a normal amount of burrito bowl. I also got chips and queso and the queso is pretty good. I would definitely get it again. My husband's final assessment is he would much rather go to Chipotle. I think I'd have to agree. However, Moe's will do in a pinch. read more

Called in to see if this establishment still had the Moe Monday deal because it's been years since I had been to Moes. When I called in the lady said yes the burrito is $5.99 but does not include a drink. I arrived and ordered me and my daughter what I thought was the Moe Monday Special but when I got up to the register I asked about the special because each burrito showed up at $10. The person who rang me out asked if I had the app, I said no I do not and she said the Moe Monday special price is only for App members. I proceeded to explain to her that I called and asked and she goes yes I spoke to you and told you the price. I said so why wouldn't you mention that's only the price for the app and she seriously told me because you didn't ask. What a joke, I told her to check with the manager to see if they could honor the price being that I had already ordered & because that was not explained when I called. The manager acted like they could not do anything because that special isn't active right away when you download the app. I left those Moe burritos right there. They would rather throw away two burritos then to honor the price that I clearly called and asked about prior to coming in. Trash customer service probably why I stopped coming there in the first place. I'll stick to Chipotle or Tijuana Flats next time because I'll never be back for Moe Monday. 12/1/2021 8 21pm in Oldsmar Florida looking for some Mexican food before places closed. Just slightly across the street from my hotel, so quick and easy to get too. Ordered to go, # 57118990, Home Wrecker white meat chicken burrito and medium size side of Guac. Came with plenty of chips, total was $18.28 and couple dollars cash in the tip jar. Happy I tried it but didn't find any real flavor I had hoped too in this TexMex called place. Might be spoiled with all the full Mexican flavors we have in So Cal. Pros- Guy and Girl working were both very nice people. Lots of chips given. Grab your own salsa bar with ok mild to hot selections. Food prep area looked clean. Burrito was fair size for price charged. Cons- Overall, I found the burrito and side of Guac without any zing, spice, or flavor, kind of borderline bland for my personal taste. The burritos are significantly smaller than they used to be and cost more. You don't get the Moe's Monday deal anymore unless you use their rewards. This is my favorite restaurant to go to and I crave it all the time. They make the food Omar a reasonable amount of time, around after you sit down. I must say Moe's is best place to get a veggie burrito. I really am never disappointed with the taste or quality of the food. Be wary ordering from them through Uber eats though. Something always seems to happen to lessen the experience when using Uber that doesn't happen in person. Make sure to get chips and queso as well. I've been coming to this location for roughly seven years and have finally given up on it. The quality of the food, portions and service has really gone downhill over the past couple of years. I usually come here on Moe's Monday, as I like the free drink that's included with the burrito special even though it's not much of a deal. The portions have decreased and it's just not worth it anymore. I order half chicken and half steak on my burrito and I usually get 3-5 very small pieces of each along with a small amount of rice. They are very consistent with their small portions. Consistently bad. My most recent visits have been pretty pathetic. I've had to ask for extra chips since they barely give you any and I have had to ask for my drink cup that is supposed to be included for the Moe's Monday promotion. The employees that work there simply don't care and aren't very friendly. The salsa bar stays half empty and they could care less about refilling it. This location has gone from a friendly staff, good value and good product to basically your below average Mexican restaurant. read more

I always order the "fat sam" I explicitly tell them what I want on it and yet , they make it with everything that I tell them NOT to put on it. The chicken is full of gristle and the steak was COLD. Do I like Moe's? Heck yeah! Yesterday I ate it twice! My favorite is the Burrito Bowl. It's tasty, not messy to eat (while driving) and I'm not filled up by the burrito wrap. My favorite of the meats is the steak. Some of the items I always get in my bowl are rice, fresh jalapenos, guacamole, corn, lettuce, cilantro and sometimes sour cream. I love love love the variety of salsas Moe's offers. I especially love the hot kind. Don't tell them, but I get a few scoops on top of my bowl and about 6 more containers to go. My only complaint about Moe's, all locations, is that the rice always tastes like it's under-cooked. Is it a Moe's thing? Moe's is the burrito place your lazy incompetent drunk deadbeat uncle formed. Under the guise of "being awesome", Moe's tries very hard to disguise itself with unbelievable names for burritos (the homewrecker), way too many menu item, and a staff that is suppose to be energetic but resembles the unhelpful workers at the local Gap. Moe's is a Chipotle wannabe and a piss poor one at that. When a customer enters the restaurant, the staff is suppose to show out "welcome to moe's!" because nothing is more mexican than the name Moe. The staff at this branch remembered to do this but had no heart in their responsibilities which matches up to the service that they provided. My girlfriend asked for enchiladas. Rather than telling her that enchiladas aren't on the menu, they made her something anyways. I asked for a burrito and was given the usual choices of meat but only one choice of salsa, cheese, and very few condiments. In fact, I was amazed that they even gave you options though I guess a choice between having a burrito will filling or without could be considered an option. The only good thing about the restaurant is the chips/salsa that is included with every order and the liquid queso dip that you are allowed to order. The dip is poorly processed melted cheese but it does taste good. There is only one burrito chain on the planet that makes burritos right and that's Chipotle. There's half a dozen wannabes and every one of them should be shunned into nonexistence. If you're not shunning Moe's, you're supporting the spread of crap burritos. Stop being part of the problem. The staff was friendly and welcomed us as we entered. They gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and make our selections. Moes is a quick service restaurant and you choose your toppings or fillings. I had the vegetarian taco salad which I thought was pretty tasty. We ordered a cup of quest for our table to share (3 people). This is a white queso and is DELICIOUS!! It could have been a little hotter in temperature but it was still very good. They have numerous vegetarian options so I am looking forward to trying some new things in the future. The drink machine was out of ice so they had a little help yourself ice bucket. Plenty of salsa selections to choose from. There was plenty of seating, I think we got there right before the lunch rush. My only complaint is that they barely gave us any chips. 3 people and we didn't finish half of our queso because we were all out. I've been back to this location several times, as it is now the only Moes nearby and it is consistently below average for Moes. My biggest complaint remains the lack of consistency when it gets busy. It is hard for me to comment on the food in this restaurant for the bickering of the employees behind the counter. Literally had to say excuse me to tell her she was putting on chicken when I said pork. Horrible attitude and general bickering back and forth! Lowlights: 1) the pork looked mushy and like a canned product. It tasted like it too. 2) the lettuce was brownish and slimy looking. 3) the queso was lukewarm. 4) salsa bar and tables were dirty! 5) bathrooms were disgusting and out of toilet paper.
