Wow, this place is so special! We took a chance coming here and if we ever come back, it will definitely be top of our list! We'd come in from out of town for a little weekend vacation and were staying in a cabin about 25 minutes away from here and were desperately in need of a meal on a Sunday evening, when of course almost everything is closed, but thankfully Moe's was open! To start off the interior is tastefully done. I did not have high expectations as it felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere but I was delightfully surprised when we walked in and got seated at how well appointed and thoughtfully done everything was. Our server was named Shannon and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. And then the food came out and WOW! Everyone in our family had been a little skeptical, but as soon as we started biting in there were happy sounds all around. We ordered two small pizzas - Margherita + pepperoni and the Supreme, the Chicken Alfredo, and the dry rub wings. Everyone inhaled their food and had some good laughs and conversation as well. We got a piece of red velvet cake on the way out (to DIE FOR!) and had the loveliest conversation with the woman that checked us out. Can't recommend it enough! read more

Ok so I think this is one of those hidden gems they talk about. Moe's is out in the middle of B.F.East Texas in Wood Co. right down the street from an airport and Holly Lake Ranch. It's easy to miss if you're moving fast and don't know it's there. So as some have seen my report on the New York pizza. It's like that. Moe's Crust is definitely made fresh from scratch. Excellent texture and flavor on it. This was baked HOT. PERFECTION. Sauce!? Yup, big 10-4 on that one too. Toppings... I ordered the meat pizza. I did not check the topping list prior to ordering I went off the previous reviews. I easily find bacon, generous pepperoni, salami and sausage. The ONLY neg is the sausage is too uniform and looks like bagged store bought type. But who cares nothings cheap nowadays. I am very happy with the price, portion and quality. Interior is clean and modern, service, outstanding! The man who took my order brought my pizza to me in the car. Oh they have a drive through too, call ahead for that. I shall return. read more

A great pizza joint is hard to find, but I found one at Moe's. The pizza at Moe's is one of the best I have ever had, and I've had pizza all over the world. I love a great pizza, and Moe's always delivers in taste, quality, freshness, and delicious pizza sauce and toppings, with a crust that actually has delicious flavor. I drive to East Texas from Dallas only a few times each year to my lake house near Moe's, but I always make it a point to get a meat-lovers pizza at Moe's. Moe's beats every pizza joint in the DFW area, and I've tried them all to my continued disappointment. I not only order a pizza to eat while in East Texas, I also order another (or two) to take back to Dallas. It freezes well and is a mouthwatering treat I enjoy over and over again. My daughter lives in Tyler attending medical school. It is reasonably close to my lake house. When she knows I am at the lake house, she always asks me to bring her a Moe's pizza. Of course I do. Moe's survived the COVID lock downs and Moe is a dedicated hard working man. He proudly and personally makes his own sauce and pizza dough daily by hand using only the freshest ingredients and a variety of toppings. If flavor and quality pizza is what you like, you will love Moe's Pizza. My entire family all agree it is the best. Most of Moe's clients order and pick up at his drive-thru window, but he also has a generous dining area and ample parking if one wants to eat in his spacious and quiet dining room. Moe's Pizza is a good family restaurant with very generous portions. I brought the family by to celebrate "Pie Day" but found out the hard way that they are closed on Mondays. We came back the next day though, and were very pleased. The Caesar salad was big enough three of us could have shared it. Seriously...I'm not kidding. it was massive. The menu had a few unusual items, so of course I zeroed in on them. I had to try the Lasagna pizza and it was delicious. Very strange combo, but I liked it. I kept scratching my head saying it looks like pizza, but tastes like lasagna. My wife recommends the Supreme, and my son got a calzone. The calzone not only came with the toppings and such inside, but also had a layer of pizza cheese on top. That was another cool surprise. All together, we really enjoyed our stay. I have not eaten here in years but thought I would give it another try. Ordered the sub sandwich- menu described it as to having various meats as well as lettuce and tomatoe and a side of chips. Also order fries. The actual order was a heated, mashed sandwich with no veggies! The fries we the frozen kind that could be found at a grocery store - and no chips. This meal cost me close to $30 as two of us ordered identical things. Sad that a local business thinks this is acceptable in a community that is 5 stars! read more

Went here with Brother in law who has frequently ordered take out for years. It was the 1st time he or any of the family has eatin inside restaurant. Inside dining room seemed fairly spacious and clean. Waitress greeted us promptly and was very attentive to our family of 7's needs. We ordered 2 large specialty pizzas and drinks. Everything was made to order, hit and fresh. The waitress was great and at the end even asked us if we wanted To-Go cups for all our drinks! Great service and great food! Not my fairest review since I didn't try the food, but can only judge on poor service. I had to call 3 times to get someone to answer. When they finally picked up, I was immediately put on "hold" as people yelled in the background. Their Facebook and yelp review list that delivery is available, however I was told that they do not deliver. Not that they don't deliver to my location or they were too busy, just that they don't deliver. Too bad, I wanted to try it despite other poor reviews. read more

Great little pizza joint in Holly Lake. We went in for lunch on Sunday. Much like everyone else in America they are understaffed and do there best. But, we understand this and feel for them and are more patient so be patient folks. Onto the food, I got the combo pizza and was really happy with it. The crust was great with a little bit of pull and chew like a good dough should be. The toppings were piled on high and was tasty with each bite. Pizza made to perfection.. this pizza is always good. Always well topped. Only advice might be that if you're calling in the order most the time they tell you longer than necessary before you come pick it up. Then you may take even longer. I've never been against call Pizza, but with thin crust some people might think that an extra unneeded delay after the completion is just too long. read more

Good pizza. Not great, but good. The wings, however, not good. Pre breaded wings baked in the oven. Soggy and weak. Wings need to be par baked from raw and then deep fried when ordered. Then tossed in whatever the choices are. I'd get a pizza again, but not wings. read more

I would rather have a frozen pizza rather than their over priced lousy food. They always burn their food. Our last visit we did the drive thru. We ordered the calzone and a salad. My boyfriend and I drove past Moe's a few times and were very curious. It didnt look like much from the outside but when we walked inside it was very nice. The decor was pretty and clean. We ordered a medium lovers pizza with medium crust which was really thin and soggy but the pizza was very flavorful.
