Hampton inn recommended that I come here for steaks, and I was smart on listening to them. The meal started with fresh baked bread, and an oil with some spice (rosemary?) mixed in for dipping. It was good, but adding the cheese made it excellent. I ordered the coffee rubbed delmonico steak, mixed green salad, red potatoes and vegetables. Everything, and I mean everything, was outstanding. But let's talk about the steak. OMFG THAT WAS GOOD! Coffee rub? It sounds so different, but it was incredible. This was a better steak than I get at a much more expensive restaurant. There is a chef here, and the owner is a baker. Dessert selection is also amazing, but I am too full. I hope I can come back to this city. I would definitely come here again! read more

Woohoo. As good as it gets...in Clearfield, PA. After spending a couple of weeks in town on business, this is the best restaurant we have found. The atmosphere is more up-scale than most, but there is no mandatory dress code. We went in jeans and didn't get any weird looks. They have a good selection of Italian food, including a couple of vegetarian options. I have been happy with the quality of food for everything I ordered. read more

Let me preface this review by saying I have been here quite often. Our evening was ruined when we got there for our 6 o'clock reservations and they could not be found. My wife produced a confirmation number but still no luck. We understand mistakes get made but the hostess was extremely short and rude in dealing with us. She finally let us know a table would not be available until 7:00. No offer of apology no regret!?!? Was not upset at all until that moment and on our way out the door, I said we won't be returning. The hostess reply was we don't want you back. Unbelievable that in this age of customer competition that would be her reply. Well I truly won't ever return to this restaurant. wonderful atmosphere in former historical five and dime store and four stars go to energetic waitress - cordial and attentive. Asking for extra spoon to share taste of my soup with spouse, she handed a teaspoon. Food fell very short of any expectations - Cafeteria-quality bread, served uncovered and near room temperature. Italian wedding soup would have been flavorful but way too salty and overboiled to enjoy flavor. Tortellini and fettuccine alfredo dishes also disappointing with very limp over-boiled pasta - highly doubt made at restaurant, and also of cafeteria quality. Lasagna large portion but noodle beyond limp - in fact, dissolved and barely held together with cheese. Supermarket pastas would have been superior. read more

The best Italian place in Town, arguably the best restaurant in town. Seafood and Pasta is the best here and portions are big enough to take home and enjoy again. When we're hosting family from out of town, we always bring them to Moena. It's a great atmosphere in a cool building. The pasta and steaks are wonderful. Ask to see the dessert tray. It's different every time and it is gorgeously set up. The servers sprinkle salt on your napkin before setting your drink down to avoid the drink sticking to the napkin. It a fun place to be on Friday night with friends, too. read more

Food was very bland. I ordered the haddock and it was marginal I think the fish and and vegetables came out of a frozen box. My food was also served room temperature. Mash potatoes had a weird taste. Keep on driving and skip it. Don't know why the food in the state of Pennsylvania taste like restuarants from the 1960s read more

Passing through on our way home from New York. We were really hoping for a good dinner and a few drinks. As soon as we arrived we were completely ignored. The wait staff seemed unhappy that we were there. We should have just left, but we were hungry and thought it would get better. Wrong....my husband ordered the sea bass with orange glaze, he got frozen cod filet with maple syrup. Drinks were decent food was awful. Sorry, was really expecting much more. WOW, our first time in Clearfield, PA and we were pleasantly surprised to find such a top-notch Italian Restaurant. Loved the wine list, I'm sure the beer and liquor list was just as impressive. The waitstaff was kind, courteous, and hustling during this holiday season. The food was outstanding!! Best marinara sauce I have tasted, as well as the bolognese sauce. The portions were HUGE, and served hot - just out of the kitchen. Can't say enough positive about our visit, and will definitely stop back when we are driving through again. read more

Went there with a few friends for dinner and had a very nice time. The food was very good and the staff all seemed friendly. The food was maybe a little slow coming out, but we didn't really mind much since it was a nice atmosphere. It was worth the 20 minute drive there and would defiantly come back. read more
