We've had several located in different parts of the US, and yes there is a difference. We desperately required a storage unit, possibly two, due to a huge move from over 1,000 miles away. Calling from our home town and not knowing where to start, I decided upon Ridgefield Mini Storage. As luck would have it, owner Erica answered the phone and was informative, understanding of our situation, and helpful. She immediately made us feel at ease, we decided to move forward with them. This is one of the best storage unit facilities we have ever used in terms of communication, genuine helpfulness, cleanliness, & safety. The front desk mgr Camille, is just as helpful. It's always a pleasure speaking to either of them. They both go out if their way to answer our questions and find solutions. They are both on the same page, that alone in regards to doing business these days, is definitely a plus! Being new to this area, not knowing the lay of the land so to speak, we have called about other things in general relating to moving & storage and assistance, Erica takes her time with recommendations and assistance as does Camille. So when he seemed to have succeeded by indeed, introducing my new (new to me... It was an older "Magic Keyboard") keyboard that just had to recognize my iMac. He had to use an "adapter", his words... to get this done. I was very pleased and relieved and gladly gave him the $26 and change that he determined to be the damages. I get home and unpack the iMac and turn it on and my keyboard cannot recognize my computer! I call him and tell him my situation, and he responds with I am gonna have to get an adapter of some sort... I was aghast!!! You did this and apparently knew that it was not going to be a "fix" without said adapter and you charged me...?!!!! So I mull it over a wee bit and call them back and get another staff member. I ask if I could use the $26 as a credit to a key board that they had for sale for $89? She responds that her manager is out for the day, "off the clock", and she cannot get this question satisfied until "tomorrow". It was almost a year ago now (sorry for the late review!!!) but these guys did a heroic job running…read moreethernet in our old house. Only 2 runs so far, going to a network closet, but we will likely be adding more at some point. They were able to put the jacks exactly where we wanted, and used a professional faceplate for where the runs terminated in the network closet, as opposed to something open in the wall. They also cleaned up a bunch of non-functional cable from outside the house. Super patient and nice people, and Stephen gave us a lot of options for the install, even though it ended up just being the 2 runs.
