Do not go to ModWash. I got hit by the car behind me while on the conveyor belt going through the car wash. After it happened I got a crack on my bumper, and mod wash did nothing to refund. I filed a claim letting them know the corporate office let me know there is nothing they would do about it. What is so frustrating is my car bumper was just replaced. I cannot believe they still had me pay for car wash that my cracked my bumper. The people who worked there at the location were nice,(so I don't fault them) but the corporate should have done something. Recommendation for car wash in Hixson, Mod Wash on 153 across from Target will no longer get my patronage. 2 weeks ago we had our vintage 2002 Tbird washed there after a weekend trip to Atlanta and return. As usual I took Raven to the car wash prior putting her back in the garage and covered to protect the paint. I always wipe down my vehicles after washing including under the hood, trunk and door jams. After wiping down under the hood I closed it to find a series of swirls on the driver's side hood of the car. I informed the manager and he took an incident report. 2 weeks later he informed me that his manager declined to pay for the repair. So I took the Tbird to Hamilton Place Car Wash after our trip this week to Nashville and return prior to putting it up in the garage as usual. I mentioned to the attendant about the scratches from my recent visit to Mod Wash, and he told me he could buff them out. What a job he did! $40 and resolved. Let's do the math. I own 5 vehicles wash 3 of them at least twice a month and the other 2 at least once every other month. Conservatively at $25 a wash (I never do a base wash) that's $1200 (and based on weather I do more than that). $1200 of business I will not be spending there over a $40 buff out. Hamilton Place Car Wash is full service, efficient and professional. I will be using them and drive from Hixson to do so. Special thanks to Malachi for a job well done . If I could rate a double negative zero I would .We have tried to get a hold of Mod Wash and emailed and left messages numerous times for someone to call us back on the experience that we had with our 2025 Jetta This has been going on for two weeks now to inform them the their brushes And equipment left red markings on our brand new white pearl Jetta We will have to get it professional detailed to get the marking out and thats bs because we had a membership and paid and entrusted it to come out clean and mark free.Mod was the only car wash establishment that the Jetta has been taken to .Well, I wouldn't take it that there anymore .We stopped by to speak to the Highway 58 female am manager and she acted like she did not care and said it was not their fault. So that's when we tried to start calling corporate office. You can tell by these marks what they are. We have never had any bad experiences with any other car washes before so please be aware and don't take your car without wondering if you're gonna leave with markings like ours . read more

Great service and location! Only downside is the cleanliness that the Car Wash provides. I feel as though my windows are still dirty/smudgy afterwards. There are plenty of parking spots for vacuuming and cleaners/towels. Just wish their products cleaned a little better. read more

The website is misleading and makes it extremely difficult to see if your membership is active or discontinued. I tried to email them and the email bounced back. It was the correct email address- I double checked. I called them and spoke to a representative and then a supervisor, and they were completely unwilling to issue a refund, even though it looked as though my membership was cancelled. I even told her that I was dissatisfied with the quality of the washes because there was still dirt/dead bugs on my car even after the washes, and still no refund. I think they take advantage of folks by hiding the fine print/terms & conditions and they really don't care if you're unhappy with their services. I won't be going there again. read more

Don't give them your credit card for any deals ... don't trust them to do what they say ... If you cancel your card they keep charging you for services you aren't using..be sure you check your banking statements for being over charged... My car looked so clean after going through this wash. I love the free air freshener that was given to me when I pulled in. I can't remember the man's name but he was at the gate and was very polite. Fantastic customer service! After an 800 mile road trip, my car was covered in dirt & bug guts. When I drove up to pay for the service, Chris asked me what kind of wash I wanted. I said I needed to get the bugs off, so he said I should turn around to the bug prep station first, however, there were 2 cars behind me. So, he let me go on through the car wash & then come back to meet him at the bug prep, which I did. Once I got there, Chris himself scrubbed my car clean of all remaining bugs and then sent me through the car wash again free of charge! My car is now sparkling clean & this is my go-to car wash! read more

I pulled up and asked the lady for a car wash. I had my window slightly cracked because I had my two large rowdy dogs in the backseat. She said "you want to do unlimited washes for a month for $10?". I said "okay". She pushed some buttons and I passed my debit card through the small cracked window. There was no talk of a membership. There was no talk of future payments. She took my card, made my payment and push the buttons. Just noticed they have been charging my account for the past two months without my consent. I called "customer service" and the lady gave me attitude about how I didn't see the sign about memberships and how I pulled into a member lane...NO lady! I didn't. I don't go there often, I've got a lot going on in the backseat, and there was a lady standing there talking to me!!!!!! SHE is the one I am paying attention to!! It's a great wash, but vacuum hoses are filthy and you don't want them near your interior.

Lousy, car wash they replaced was better. Left dirt and rain scum on my truck. Did not shine my tires properly. And cost a whopping and ridiculous $24.00 for the service. I do not know why they would put these horrible car washes so close together. On at Hamill and 153 and this one. The service we received today from Mods Car Wash was excellent. Our car was extremely dirty having sat for months under a tree with sap. When we pulled up to the car wash Jake, the manager, advised us to use the Bug Prep solution to loosen up the dirt before taking the car through the wash. We turned the car around, and then to our surprise Jake came over, grabbed a sponge and worked HARD on our car! He was super friendly and really went above and beyond to help us! Next we went through the wash and the car was so clean. It had never looked so good. They also have plenty of glass cleaner, sanitizer and wipes to clean your interior as well as powerful vacuums and an air hose to blast debris from the tight nooks and crannies. Place really deserves 5 stars. read more

This used to be my favorite car wash. I have used it for many years. They always did a great job with the brushes just before entering the car wash. They no longer clean the front end or back end of the vehicle.....they simply guide you inside the car wash. Also, they no longer offer towels for use afterwards. My truck was still dirty when I came out and I had to wash it myself when I got home. The new car wash is not good. I will not go back again. The employees were great and very professional. ModWash is a car wash you should avoid at all cost. My wife recently visited the Hwy 153 location in Hixson TN and halfway through the wash the vehicles in front of her stopped, she applied her brakes and stopped as well but the lady behind her had soap on her windshield and did not see the vehicles had applied their brakes in front of her so the automated track kept pushing her vehicle into my wife's. Needless to say it caused substantial damage, the police were called and filed a report. The response ding officer even said the system should have shut down automatically. Well, the car wash management is blaming the vehicle in front that did not exit. The owners of that vehicle said they did nothing wrong. The workers at the car wash stated the line is supposed to automatically stop which it did not. After repeated calls and a visit, the car wash manager told us to get estimates and they would repair. We obtained a estimate of our choice and then one from the body shop they recommended which was over $800 more. We said we still prefer the one cheaper and now they are denying to pay for repairs, will not respond to phone calls nor emails. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever had any interactions with in my 60+ years. The manager was unapologetic, rude and acted as if we did something wrong. Just wanting to warn everyone to beware of this company. We, nor any of our family or friends will ever visit any Modwash again. read more

Mod Car Wash came in and took over Chattanooga but in a bad way. They bought out the place I used to go to. Increased the price by five dollars and no longer pre wash, or provide Armour All or glass cleaner. Now they only provide some type of cleaning solution to use like armor all and for cleaning windows. I tried the the one on 153 and found it was awful. I pre-washed myself but by the time I got in the car wash it dried. Then I noticed that no brushes ever touched the windshield so when I got to the drying station the spots from the pre-wash were still there. Also, my hood still had bug spots on it. The vacuum hoses stick out so far that they hit your car door. I noticed when I was leaving they have a sign that says if your not satisfied you can go thru the wash again. I said no thanks and went home feeling jipped. Mapco car washes are better than this place snd they are way cheaper. I'll never go back. Mapco here I come. read more

I wanted to update my initial review which was critical of the car wash after finding minor damage to one of my running boards on my brand new vehicle and some other mishaps. After posting my negative review, I received a telephone call within a few hours after posting from ModWash's customer service rep, Sara. I explained my situation. Sara stated that the general manager at my location would call me. Shortly after I received a call from Matthew, the GM at the ModWash location I use in Hanover, PA. We set up a date and time to bring my vehicle to the car wash to see exactly what was hitting the vehicle. We found that the front of my left side running board was hitting the motor on the tire cleaner. My factory installed running boards on my brand new Durango actually protrude out past the tires. This caused the tire cleaner's motor to hit the front end of the running board which always moved the vehicle to the right as I proceeded thru the wash. It always felt like the car was being pushed of the tire track. That is how hard it was being pushed. There is now a small dent on the bottom front of my left running board due to this mishap. Matthew and I spoke about what could be done so this would not happen again. It was decided that when I come to the car wash, I will tell the attendants to turn off the tire cleaner portion of the wash and it would not activate and hit my left running board. Matthew was also going to check with the person who handles the equipment to see if they could adjust the left side tire cleaner apparatus. An adjustment of about an inch would keep it from hitting the running board. Overall, I am very happy that they got back to me to take care of the problem. This is good customer service, which is very hard to find these days. I really do like the car wash. We have also taken care of the issue of the damage to the car. I would have given 5 stars on my update but with the car damage it is kind of hard to do. However, I would give 5 stars for their customer service. Dealing with Sara and Matthew was a pleasure.
