I chose the $14.99 wash ($1.50 more for trucks) but was charged $27+. A little frustrating having to work that out when I was clear about the wash I wanted. Once my truck was done (pretty quick, actually), I had to have them go back over it as there were still lots of bugs on the bumper, grill and hood. Two guys spent some time recleaning it but it was still dirty. I went ahead and just left but I had to go back over several areas myself once I got home and I really didn't want to do that. Also, a wet dog smell lingered inside from the cloths they were using. Probably won't be going back to this place.

I haven't tried it yet so I can't compare business but will update once I do. This is very nice with very friendly staff. They use a belt drive that carries you through rather than rails and rollers like all the other washes. The prices start at $7 for a basic soap and rinse and go up $12,$15 and...not sure because I chose the $15 wax. This includes a polish after the wax is applied AND a soft cloth buffer after going through the dryer which I haven't seen anywhere else. My wheels didn't get as clean as I like but the rest of the Truck was very nicely done. They have very powerful vacuums, air for your tires and washer fluid as well as offering towels to dry, window cleaner and air freshener. They definitely raise the bar for anything else in the area and much better value for your $$ than the wash place up in Ooltewah off Little Debbie and worth the drive down from there by far.

I have been using Discount Tire since moving to Hixson in 2022, and although this is the first…read morereview I have written for them, this is the third time I have used them for tires. I have had a great experience every time, but what happened today was worth taking the time to write about. As part of dealing with some recent issues with my vehicle, I knew the car had been out of alignment. One tire had become badly worn, while another was almost brand new because I had replaced it about a month ago after picking up a screw. I went into Discount Tire fully expecting to replace all four tires and spend somewhere around $1,000. I told the gentleman helping me that I needed four new tires. He inspected all four and essentially told me, "We can certainly sell you four tires, but I think we can sell you one and potentially get another 18 to 24 months out of the others." Obviously, I wanted to hear more. He walked me through the condition of each tire and showed me exactly what he was seeing. One tire needed to be replaced. Two others had worn more aggressively because of the alignment issue, but the wear was even and they still had approximately 60% of their usable tread remaining. The fourth tire was the newer one I had recently replaced. Instead of simply selling me what I walked in asking for, he recommended replacing the one tire that actually needed it, rotating the others into the best positions, and then having me come back for their free tire rotations so we can manage the wear and hopefully extend the life of the set another 18 to 24 months. I walked in expecting to spend about $1,000 and walked out spending roughly $200. That kind of honesty is exactly why this is now the third time I have chosen Discount Tire since moving to Hixson. What made the day even better was that I had just come from another automotive repair where I had also received some unexpectedly good news. Between the two businesses, I started the day mentally preparing myself to spend close to $5,000 on my vehicle. Instead, because both businesses recommended only what I actually needed, I ended up spending around $800 total. You just don't have days like that very often when dealing with car repairs. Discount Tire had every opportunity to sell me four tires. I was standing there ready to buy them. Instead, they gave me the advice that was best for me and saved me approximately $800. That is how you earn a customer's trust and repeat business. Three experiences with Discount Tire since 2022, three great experiences -- and after today's experience, finally a well-deserved review. Highly recommended.

I had the most pleasant experience today with Mark Hullender, owner of the recently upgraded Splash…read moreCar Wash. After an express wash ($7.00) I drove home. When I got out of the car, I saw a few areas on the hood and trunk lid that had not been thoroughly cleaned (Splash does not use the big, rotating brush that descends onto your car and then rides the contours, but the manic strips that swish back and forth). I hate to be picky, but I wasn't satisfied with this. The roof and sides were pristine, but the hood and trunk lid weren't up to par. So, I drove back to the car wash. When Mark came out, I showed him my areas of concern, and he immediately agreed with me and directed me to come back in for a second wash. But before he started the second wash cycle, he used a big, soapy brush to manually gave the hood and trunk lid a good scrubbing. And then, to my surprise, he gave me an upgraded wash with more soap. Needless to say, problem solved! Without hesitation, I therefore give Mark Hullender and his Splash Car Wash a solid 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) Mark was quick to agree with me that some spots had been missed and didn't hesitate to fix the problem; 2) I was impressed by Mark's sincerity and desire to make me happy. He said, "I want happy customers and I will do whatever it takes to achieve that", and he meant it!; 3) Splash Car Wash has recently been upgraded and has all new equipment - everything looks clean and new. Therefore, without reservation, I can endorse and recommend Mark and his business to you. I will not hesitate to get my next car wash there.
