We tried Modu as it was in the gold section of the Entertainment Book and by the look of the website, we thought it to be a high end and upscale Chinese restaurant. While it wasn't high end, it's certainly got a nice, modern vibe to it and good food.
Parking is quite problematic in the area, but getting a table here isn't. They sit you down and only give half of the table a menu. It's quite an extensive menu, so really everyone needs their own. Admittedly, as a fairly non adventurous eater, the menu is a little scary with items like duck blood this and bullfrog that. But the meals we all got were quite good. The food came out fast and everything tasted nice. I've certainly had a better meal at other Chinese restaurants before, but this was ok for sure if you're in the area.
I think the food is reasonably priced - with or without the Entertainment Book - and the service was efficient and friendly enough. With so much to choose from and a good amount of seating and tasty fare, I'd recommend Modu if you find yourself in this part of town. read more
