He told me they would look worse before they got better, and in 1-3 months I should see a 50-75% improvement. I'm hoping by summer they look much better!! The staff was also very nice. They have a text system set up to remind you of appointments and to see how you're doing. I would definitely recommend Metro Vein Center in Tucson.

The next treatments were done with injections around my ankle area and was very painful. This treatment caused a open wound to form on my ankle about the size of a silver dollar. The wound did not heal for over a year and when I asked Dr. B about this he said that it was normal and he told me to put medical-honey on it. This was very painful and did not work at all. I had my regular doctor treat this wound and finally it healed after about a year and a half. Still I was left with a major scar on my ankle that is still very tender to this day. The varicose veins on my ankle are actually worse than when I first went to Dr. B. On top of this he sent me a bill for $1875.00 for a procedure that did not work. I told him that I would not pay him a dime and was lucky I did not sue him. Now I found out that he sent me to collections for the money which showed up on my credit report. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. You would think that he should be held accountable for messing up my ankle. I may have to seek an attorneys help after all.

Came here after letting a few months of foot pain go too long untreated. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, within a few days with Dr. Carrie Hess. Upon arriving the staff were quick to help me check in and were very friendly as I waited for the doctor. Doctor Hess pretty immediately let me know it was most likely plantar fasciitis because of the area where I was experiencing the pain. She did offer to take x-rays to confirm it wasn't anything else but they can't really see much on the x-ray besides a bone spur, which was actually kind of interesting to find out. She suggested a steroid shot and we were able to do it that day pretty quickly. It wasn't too painful but there was a little pinch. I was a little surprised she didn't give me more in terms of a treatment plan, but I think that she may have just expected that I kind of knew what to do after. She did say, if the pain reoccurs to return but I wasn't really sure what to do to prevent this from happening again. Luckily, I haven't had much pain. The morning after was the first time in months I'd woken up and not had to hobble around my house in pain. Thank you!

She's honest when it is needed (I had gained some weight (5-10lbs) and she suggested that I go back to my previous weight from the year before, for health reasons). I very much recommend Dr. Lin if you are in search of a personal and caring doctor. I am a young professional (late 20's), so I do not know how she treats kids or older adults, especially if you have more health problems than I do.
